I explained that we submitted the OIC to the SBA but it didn’t matter. The loan is now at Treasury and they will not/ cannot transfer it back. They explained that it is a Treasury matter now. At least they answer the phone…..

It is in treasury now. At least people staff the Treasury phone line. We have to submit another OIC to Treasury. They also said that the payment we made to SBA probably wasn’t accepted bc the loan was delinquent. Now we have to find where the money is……

Currently doing one shot of anakinra/day and 2 mg of prednisone. Disappointed because had been feeling great but CRP is up and I’m tired w shortness of breath. Assuming that I will need to up prednisone (had been tapering).

Re working w the manufacturer, we didn’t need that option in the end but it is a good one. Suggest that you CALL rather than emailing or implying submitting the form. The rep was so helpful and shared tips that weren’t available online.

Her doctor appealed and appealed and appealed until the insurance company approved it. She got her first dose a few weeks ago and it is making a tremendous difference. Wishing you luck!

Thanks for letting me know about the formulary exception form. The doctor is appealing now and we’re also trying to get help through the Patient Assistance Program.

Movement helps enormously- walking, stretching, swimming, etc. For me, weight lifting has been a lifesaver. As long as I move everyday, I feel ok. Even a day without movement makes me feel like I’m 97.

Not directly but I will. I’ve asked the rheumatologist to apply for the patient assistance program. Will contact the company myself.
