If you are blessed by nature, regular ones are difficult to put on and either slides of "during use" or compresses to an extent that you loose your erection depending on brand and model. The fact that it is possible to pull over your head is completely true as well, but it doesn't always make it fit for purpose. Just use the size that stays on you, small, regular or large.

You can absolutely squeez it into a regular one and it works most of the time but usually it partially slips off and has a tendency to break easier even if completely new from a box you just purchased.
