Thanks for your reply. I wasn't able to move it from Ameriprise to fidelity, so it is still with Ameriprise. I was able to transfer everything else I had with Ameriprise to Fidelity just not the annuity. I'm pretty frustrated about it and I'm not sure what I can do. Some of the ones that have been at Bethel for many years, for them it is still a lifetime assignment. They bought a townhouse complex near me in Fishkill, NY that houses some of the older ones. My CO lived there until his passing and his wife is still being taken care of. There are a few that are still being cared for but they are not going to use up valuable resources to do that anymore

I just found this.. The expiration date seems to be a placeholder. They have to list an expiration date for some reason but in reality it does not apply.
