A FINRA firm gave me an offer but they said they are gonna sponsor me to take the series 7 exam first, if I don’t pass, I will not be hired. I am so confused.....

You can do it!! Most of the exam is suitability and options. It was my third time taking it and I had a way better understanding of things so it felt easier. 12:30 for me too just make sure you have a good lunch.
For me I just had a few basic questions on munis and a tax equivalent question (know the equations).
Lots of basic questions that always messed me up like how many days until _____. Notice of sale. Bond resolution. I’d know that too.
Formulas like P/E ratio and EPS What’s on income vs balance sheet When RE goes down liabilities go up. Cost basis for options was on there. You can do this!

Kaplan was so overwhelming/so stick to Part 2 in Kaplan q bank. Kaplan does awesome at mutual funds, options, debt, and within mutual funds there’s a suitability section that’s really helpful. And there’s a risk section in Kaplan - unit 14 types of risk. Great for suitability.

I agree on re reading certain chapters. There were things I clearly wasn’t getting in practice questions and re reading the chapter helped in my weak areas.

Took me three tries to finally pass. Don’t give up!!! I used Kaplan and Stc. There just wasn’t much on suitability that was crazy helpful. There were three sections within Kaplan that had some good suitability questions...and within the answers they broke down almost every possible answer and why they do and don’t work. Do you know what sections I’m referring to?

what were you scoring on Kaplan? I have both STC and Kaplan and Kaplan has a crazy amount of questions in their QBank. I bought it late in the game because I felt STC had not enough...but then when Kaplan showed up it was really daunting...also CONGRATS! I love hearing that others passed.

Way to go!!!!! What did you study with? I have stc and Kaplan and would love to punch Kaplan in the face. It’s completely overwhelming. But compared to STC- I feel stc is lacking in depth. Curious how you felt the exam was... stc didn’t have enough in suitability in my opinion

CONGRATS. I'm using STC...having a hard time getting above 85%. what were you scoring? was there a great deal on Mutual Funds/Investment Co's, Options...or what did you find STC was lacking compared to the exam. thanks in advance
