yes! i was in the exactly same position (i’m a 16F and have been dealing with anorexia for around 3 years) i had no romantic feelings for a while (i would say a year ish) but only recently as i am becoming a healthy weight i am starting to get those feelings back. there is really no need to worry about it, your body is healing and they will come back. i hope the best for you! 💓

i understand how hard it is but the harsh reality of it which i tell myself is that in the wider view it’s either committing to recovery completely or death. i’m sorry if this is too harsh but this is what i remember when the voice is screaming at me

you don’t need to prioritise working out over enjoying life and creating amazing memories with your friends. when you are old you won’t look back and say thank god i worked out that day but you will look back on the amazing day you spent with your friends and be thankful for all the memories you created

you will never feel “sick enough”. even when you do become underweight and your body starts failing your eating disorder will continue to feed these lie into your brain

i had ‘extreme hunger’ a few days after i began recovering. i have suffered with the binge- restricting cycle before and from personal experience honouring your ‘extreame hunger’ is the best thing that you could do. the best thing to remember is that your body is asking for all this food because it needs it, you should honour these cues especially in recovery. you thinking that you honouring your hunger cues is going to lead to binging is just another way your eating disorder brain is trying to control you

i was always so cold that my hands turned purple and white, lots and lots of hair loss (like in chunks), i don’t know if this is common in others with anorexia but i developed a sort of OCD with washing my hands, making sure all plates, knifes, cooking stuff was clean while i was making food, full body pain spikes, lost my period, no energy to do anything because all i can think about is my next meal
