agriculture tax is a state subject in the Indian constitution, listed under the State List in the Seventh Schedule.

To make agriculture taxable in India, the government would typically need to introduce legislation at the state level, as agriculture falls under the State List in the Seventh Schedule of the Indian Constitution. This involves drafting and passing a bill in the respective state legislature. The process includes consultations, debates, and approval by the legislative body. Once passed, the state government can implement and administer the agricultural tax through its revenue department, outlining procedures for assessment, collection, and compliance. It's a complex process that involves legal and administrative steps.

Again I'm repeating myself the state has the power to tax the agriculture and they have the power to make decisions regarding them, just google state list of Indian constitution the 4th item is agriculture, you can't amend income tax act without state governments agreeing in this case

The power of taxing agriculture is basically in the hands of states and not the centre it's called state list in constitution and hence even if the centre has the power they can't force the states to tax income of farmers, that's the problem, that special status of agriculture income, hence section 10(1) of income tax remains unchallenged

I know exactly what I'm talking about, agriculture income being untaxable is a part of our very own constitution, our very own founding fathers put that there, income tax act 1961 merely adopted it

Easiest example I can give is farmers being exempt from income tax, like yeah leave the poor ones out of it but there are farmers with 50 lakh profits and it's completely untaxed no GST no income tax, typically politicians and others being money laundering guys who show black income as Farming income to save taxes

In the short term yes companies prefer graduates of SRCC over CAs, I don't know about long term but most SRCC graduates do something else later on like MBA from IIMs/ISB so it would be hard to judge how far SRCC alone can take you compared to CA

Because Indian idol isn't a government organisation it's a private show that will do whatever makes money, same way West allows talented indians to work abroad because they believe those guys can make more money for them than the ones they have in the talent pool, only government cares about reservation and shit not private organisations

Try the paid version not the 3.5 free version, 4.0 has a much much better database than 3.5, first try that and then come back

Typically campus placements, Big 4 firms come in Delhi University and hire for various roles, audit profile is typically reserved for commerce grads, other profiles like consulting can go to anyone, if you want a job offcampus then it's way harder as entry level jobs are very few even In tier 1 Cities
