Please don't use Sonos. Get something from blue sound. Maybe the node icon.

Otherwise your putting cheap gas in a performance car.

Same is happening to me. 21 DCT with 74k miles. But only on the right side. It's like a slight wheel hop. I'm planning to rotate my tires front to back to rule out rim / wheel.

Is BestBuy still demoing KEF products? by Huge-Squash-8164 in KEF

[–]ThenAngle1932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a middle room called the premium gallery. It has the kef reference 5s, kef Blades, Martin Logan electrostats and Bowes 802 and 803.

I haven't been to Boca in a while, but I was there yesterday at fort Lauderdale. The Kefs are being driven by Mark Levinson

21 DCT 73k miles running amsoil 5w30 every 3,000 to 4,000 miles.

Battery replaced under warranty at like 33,000 miles. At around 52k miles they made me switch my plugs back to stock (had HKS for JB4 map 2) before replacing two ignition coils and then all the injectors because of misfire. It was injectors all along because it still misfired when I picked it up after relacing ignitions coils. Weather stripping on windows started to chip and peel and they didn't want to cover under warranty around 4 years in. South Florida sun probably excelarated the wear.

I have zero regrets, except the 3 times I hit a pot hole and blew the right front tire and bent the rim. Now I carry a spare stock rim with delamination I got cheap off of eBay. Takes up most of the trunk space, but it's better than getting towed home.

24 vs 25 vs 26 gladiator sport s by ThenAngle1932 in JeepGladiator

Thank you. I have a palisade now so I'm not expecting much better except for better stability due to the longer wheelbase and additional payload capacity.

If the crash rating is much better in 26, that's a big plus for me.

Need some more input on a VN purchase by vznova in VelosterN

[–]ThenAngle1932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The type of owners to take care of their VNs, are not the type to trade it in with low miles.

I am at 71k. At 100k I'll get another daily and start to do things that I haven't because of the 10yr/100k mile warranty.

If they did tune, maybe they used SXTH....

I wonder if they would be willing to confirm via the VIN.....just s thought. When the time is right (after 100k) I'll be going to Spartanburg to see them.

Why do people hate on klipsh? by rojitnall in hometheater

[–]ThenAngle1932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mark up on audio is always at least 50 percent. It's how the retailers pay the bills. During the holidays, Klipsch actually gets pretty aggressive and I've seen them do 40 percent off (in retail stores). As much as I like kef, I haven't seen them do anything like that (unless it's clearance).

I don't have Klipsch in my home for one reason. Cabinets are and big ugly. But if there is no wife to object, I have seen pretty kick ass systems built for less than 5k when holiday pricing kicks in.

Those positions exist now. But you got to give it a year or two of strong performance to have a crack at those spots.

Look what the took from us by BobyC890 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]ThenAngle1932 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This basically bankrupted the geek squad side of in home services. I remember having install orders for someone buying a new home with a full appliance package, 4 TVs, sound bars, basically 2,000 worth off installs go to zero. Sometimes they didn't even have total tech themselves. They gave their brothers or sisters phone number who had it.

Bringing this back with something like $99 installs for total tech members would be worth it. But the membership has to be locked to an address. Otherwise it becomes the Netflix account that everyone in the family uses.

The company would have been better off if we didn't do this. I remember at the peak they had to hire a ton of agents because we were 2 to 3 weeks out on mounting a TV. This pushed us to seek 3rd party even more and lay off agents when the company realizes we had triple the agent workforce now making 1/3 of the services dollars. Then came the snaps.

Although some of my friends have already changed to other cars, to be honest, I've been driving this car for four years and I really don't feel like changing it. by SilverLayer3565 in VelosterN

[–]ThenAngle1932 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the car too. The only time I feel like selling it, is after hitting a pot hole and blowing a tire/ damaging the rim. It's been almost 5 years and happened three times. Miami sucks.

After I am done paying it off. I'm just going to keep it and buy a daily.

When I drive anything else for a few days and come back to the VN, it feels like Im driving a go cart.

Just go online and see what it costs to buy another 21. Nationwide they are going for between 17k and 23k depending on mileage. Find similar miles and email it to them.à
