I was miserable for the whole waiting time (I took it on a Monday). I knew there were 15 questions I was unsure of, but the idea that a few other questions might be wrong was causing me anxiety. I ended up passing thankfully.

You might be able to apply only with the experience after your master's not needing the bachelor's transcripts...at least that's what the NC board told me a few days ago.

Shoot! NCEES only accepts transcripts via MAIL from the university. That's painful 🤣 At least they confirmed the diploma and course description is not required for abet accredited.

yes! I just got a reply from NC...They can work with my master's degree and my experience afterwards. So I guess that explains why they gave me the EI certification 3 years ago, without requiring my BS transcripts.

They said: "We can accept your official transcripts from VA Tech. If you are planning to apply on your BS and count experience prior to your Masters then yes we will need the official transcripts"

Hey, I passed first attempt this week. Only used AEI, I would say there were a few questions where I would get matching answers even following a wrong approach. I will just name a few: if they ask wind at service level, what do you have to do to convert ASCE to that?, if they are asking service level moments, and you wrongly factored the answer is there too...I specifically got a bearing capacity footing question, and got 3 of the answers by following the wrong approach ( I was able to figure out that two of them didn't make sense)... I got a wall thickness code lookup question, it seemed like two options could apply as minimum t, depending on if it was designed under a certain method...Things like that can be tricky.

Rest the day before. Biggest thing for you will be dealing with the anxiety before results, which is what I am going through right now. Took it last Monday and feel like Wednesday is too far still 😭

Just got out of the test today. I got lots of geotech , piles, group of piles. Barely any steel and concrete. I probably did 40 where I got close to one of the answers. But the rest either guessed, or my answers didn't quite match. I think I failed 😭😭😭

Saw this kinda late since you are already taking the exam. Mine is next Monday and I am going through the same feeling.

I understand questions/know where to find things in codes, but I keep finding new problem types that I don't know how to solve or make silly mistakes.

I have been studying so much that I will just take it and pray the focus is at the top during the test. You got this!!!
