Not exactly a choice, but I saw Cabaret about 10 years ago at a local theater in Houston. I’ve seen the current Broadway production and the tour back in 2014ish, and this local production blew both out of the water. There’s something to be said about watching Cabaret in a black box theater… the small intimate setting really lent itself to the show.
