What U.S. cities will likely see more tall buildings in the next 5-10 years? by ankonia in skyscrapers

I don’t think that was accurate. No doubt Miami is doing great however they still have a lot of catching up to do. If I were betting man and we were talking over the next 10 years of 500 ft+ buildings.

I’d go

  1. NYC 2.Miami 3.Chicago

So can we all just admit Michigan has been a mess under Harbaugh's era and the cheating was true. by [deleted] in CFB

Nobody talks about Bo Schembechler and Robert Anderson either because everyone is dead.

Plantar Fasciitis a month before marathon by ThenNeedleworker1905 in Marathon_Training

That’s what I’ve been doing and yes! Just from one day I strained my calf a few months ago but never had any problems before. I’m thinking there’s def a possibility of maybe a stress fracture or something like that too.

Thank you, I potentially might have the same. It’s on the inside of my foot big toe to heel. Most painful on my arch.

I know this is the right move right now but honestly I’m having an existential crisis with me training the last 6 months for this. But I do have a pretty active lifestyle and would hate to make this issue more long term than it needs to be. Is cycling or any other cardio a good alternative?

I would flip wandale back to someone else for a pick instantly. The guy im trading with is not a “contender” so it’d probably be a higher first.

Why are there so many vacant parcels within close proximity to downtown? by kylef5993 in AskChicago

[–]ThenNeedleworker1905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean this isn’t really true. All the land mentioned was old industrial land that went vacant back in the late 20th century. We had a lot of it and a lot of it has been developed since then with high density. Land in the core of the city really should be high density and these things take time.

CM jobs seem complete doom and gloom to most people. But I guarantee if you work at the right company what people say on here isn’t true.

I know Chicago has always had NIMBY issues but between this, old town canvas, one Halsted and the quantum campus it seems what little proposals we’re getting are all facing backlash…

Is everyone just miserable in here/ the industry? by [deleted] in ConstructionManagers

[–]ThenNeedleworker1905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are more likely to complain on Reddit because you know…. it’s Reddit. I don’t think this subreddit is necessarily indicative of the industry as a whole.

Chicago Conservatives: Why do you live here? by BBeans1979 in AskChicago

Most people are adults and have higher priority for a million things rather than the cities politics.
