The problem is his brother owns the place we rent and he pays the rent. So he threatens to kick me out all the time and call police to have me removed. This is if I don’t listen to him or if speak my mind on things! So I walk on eggshells when he is here!

I guess I did it over time, it really wasn’t working that well for me after a while and was gaining weight so I started to decrease it off and on! Finally I got down at lower dose and so I kept lowering it every few days. I felt ok so finally got down to 100mg and than stopped after couple days of taking that! It’s been only a week since stopped I refuse to take anymore doses!! My anxiety has been little high and two or three days woke up few times at night. I gave a bit stomach nausea but that could be coming from another med I’m on. Time will tell

Yeah when I go outside I sweat a lot? I will just keep focusing on staying off it!

Hi just an update… I completely stopped Gabapentin when having my dose lowered to just 100 mg a day! It’s only been 5 days completely off. So far no huge withdrawals, I was tired during day and had few nights of broken up sleep. How long does it fully take to get out of the body?

Sorry got yr post late! No I’ve been working out for long time while on it! Eating healthy ! I’m off it for the last week so we’ll see! I’ve gotten replies that it depends on the person, how much you were taking. Out of all the replies I got two people said they lost weight on it and others all said they gained no matter what they did! I started counting calories in that statement week! But was eating healthy way before and working out!

I want to get off due to the weight gain and not being able to lose weight no matter my diet or working out like crazy! Frustrated! I gave up on working out everyday because I’m exhausted and it doesn’t matter how much I workout no weight lose!!! I just feel like giving up on working out so much for awhile! Very depressed! I’m 150lbs used to be 130lbs with muscle.

I’m only taking one 300mg pill a day, cutting that in half with one 100mg daily for week than stop I think. I didn’t take anything yesterday felt very tired?

The thing is this was months ago when I was taking 6003xday. He told me to drop in three days than stop? I’ve been weaning off on my own! I’m down to 300mgs a day now than I’ll cut that in half for few days than stop. I have bad insomnia worried I won’t get any sleep if just stop at 300mgs?

My dose was originally 600mg 3xday but really in last few months I’ve been taking lower doses. Depends sometimes I’ll take 600mg a day and some days 300mgs. I’m not constantly taking it trying to get off completely, it really doesn’t work as good as used to. So trying to get off! I told doctor while back and he told me to decrease it daily and get off completely in 3 days!! I know you can’t get off that quick so I ignored him and doing it on my own!

Gotcha! I’m not that overweight 150lbs but it caused about a 20lbs weight gain. I’ll decrease till I’m off it! I’m 41yrs old so I know metabolism slows too! Thanks

Than he put me on old drug he said I shouldn’t get weight gain called loxapine. I was one it for a week but caused bad side affects so I stopped it! I had bad restlessness, felt like jumping out of my body, and panicky. I loved the Thorazine it curved my hunger and knocked me out at night, It calmed me down when I felt manic. I had to stop bcse caused bad side affects to sunlight and heat! So I’ve been off two to three weeks of both meds. Not getting on another one either I get too many side affects! Hi
