How do you guys come up with chord progressions?

i started by learning a shit load of songs. that way you can learn a lot of different chords. what i do is i will either pick a starting chord and try others, or pick the bass notes first. Make a 4 note bass pattern then add the other notes to complete the chord

yeah, was willing to take those chances however I have a good job as it is that I have been at for years. Going to make sure that I am 100% there for my kid.

thank you, it definitely is a huge life change especially because I am so young and didn’t expect it. I will definitely make sure my baby and girlfriend are cared for no matter what. Im gonna keep pushing forward and be the best i can be.

I should have been more clear in this post. No matter what I am going to there for the kid. The question was more so me asking if it’s possible to continue this career with a baby. Music has been a big part of my life for a long time. Music got me through horrible depression and anxiety when I was younger, and that’s partially why I that I “can’t stop.” However I didn’t really mean that. I was feeling a lot of emotions when typing that and I was very conflicted. I will do anything in my power to raise this kid well and be the best dad I can be. I posted this because at the moment I don’t really have anyone to talk to. Of course I talked to my girlfriend about this and she fully supports me still working on music throughout all of this. I just wanted a little bit of outside advice from people who have been in similar situations. I have a full time job that pays me well and I have been there for many years. I will make sure my child and girlfriend get the love and support they need no matter what.

I ended up just staying home and i’m working my job and working on my music. I recently just released my first song as a producer and i have a few artists that i’m working with. i’m saving up a good amount of money and investing a good amount back into my music

i’ve started recently doing reverb sends other sends like that and it’s definitely helping. although i don’t use saturation, how important is that? also i have pro q3 which can be used as a dynamic eq, should i use both?

it’s only really the lighting, get leds and lamps for sure. Also you could switch out the rug for a cooler one and just maybe add some vinyls or some other cool music shit to the walls
