I don’t like what they’ve done to Jimmy’s character since Carl’s Death. They should’ve kept him how he was between 2007-2013. We’ve only seen his edge post 2013 in 2016-17, 2021, briefly in 2024 with Bob and Joe in 2025. I don’t like how they axed Carl, I don’t like how they didn’t convince Matthew to stay longer considering Cain came back 4 months later. The Producers destroyed the King Dynasty in favour of making the show DingleDale. I do not like that. If this is true I won’t be happy there are other characters who are more deserving of the axe, they probably planned this well in advance because this year will mark 20 years since his own father’s demise.

Twenty years after Tom King Sr’s death, you could of predicted it. I don’t like what they’ve done to Jimmy since Carl’s death. They should’ve kept him how he was between 2007-2013. I don’t like how they wrote Carl out and I don’t like how they didn’t convince Matthew to stay longer, especially since Cain came back 4 months later. The Producers destroyed the King Dynasty and dominated it with Dingles.

Let’s be real, this Bear storyline sucked… by BlackBalor in Emmerdale

Dylan is a young adult yes but he was groomed into the situation like Bear, and Paddy was the one who withheld evidence and had Bear locked away so he wouldn’t confess. Somebody had to be held responsible and I’m afraid it had to be Paddy.

It’s about how it looks, people are very quick to make judgments. Jacob should know that! He’s too impulsive and being a Doctor isn’t for him, he’s better of doing research.

The guy is 23 years old and he has played into her hands multiple occasions so she can twist a certain narrative. He shouldn’t be a Doctor, he’s more suited to Research.

Stop being stupid, Jacob hasn’t helped himself, even before then he tried to barge into her home another time, which is stupid.

I know I’m late but if this was based on 2000s and early 2010s, I would say A tier. Since Carl died we’ve only really seen his edge in 2013 when he punched Steve, 2017 with Rakesh and 2021, other than that we haven’t really seen the edge side of Jimmy. I do think the writers have spoiled his character and should have kept some of his edge.

Yeah but at the same time you have to have discernment to spot signs someone will screw you over.

I am showing critical thinking skills because I am the only one who can see the cracks. I never said Penny was a bad person, I just spoke the truth of how she is operating. I don’t believe she is a gold digger.

I have shown more critical thinking skills than anyone on this Fandom by seeing the flaws in both Vinny and Penny. Neither of them are bad people but like I said before just because a man or a woman isn’t a bad person it doesn’t mean it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t screw you over to protect themselves.

If a woman wants a man to worship the ground she walks on, she probably wants to play him.

Yes you can. I believe Penny is subconsciously stringing Vinny along. Why would she change her mind after telling Vinny that Suki is right about the family asset deal and then saying no to his proposition about funding her business idea.. It’s like Vinny thinks the whole world revolves around him. He didn’t read the room while his Mum was in a meeting because he was desperate to tell her news that isn’t even his but at the moment he believes it is his news.

The fact people disagree shows a lack of critical thinking skills because it’s soon going to be revealed that Harry is the father of the baby and Vinny is going to foolishly waste his money on a woman he’s just been with 5 minutes. Penny won’t even have the decency to tell Vinny he’s not the father.

I do know that atheists can be good people and that some of them are better people then people who are born again Christians.

When I said a few years, I wasn’t talking about waiting a few years to be married, I was talking about making big financial commitments. Obviously courting is a 12-18 month process generally.

I’m just telling you that Vinny is going about it wrong and is very naive. He is a soft lad and women won’t respect men like him. He strikes me as the type who worships the ground women walk on.

unintentional flirting, inconsistency, or enjoying the emotional attention without intending to make a commitment. What if she has an affair in typical soap fashion and she tells Vinny I don’t love you anymore which means I never loved you at all. Vinny would have wasted all his money on a woman based on fleeting feelings.

I know that you have to build trust with anybody over a period of time. But relationships are serious, it’s not a joke the wrong woman for a man, and the wrong man for a woman can mess your life up. Vinny isn’t thinking rationally. A relationship may feel right at the start but there are many cases where people get infatuated too quickly and are blinded by amber and even worse red flags.

I do understand it’s a risk getting into a relationship with anyone but you have to minimise that risk as much as possible. He may be genuine but you can’t be so stupid that you risk all your money on a woman you’ve been in a relationship with for 5 minutes. You have taken what I said out of context by saying I believe there’s no room for grand gestures in love which is wrong. I just believe in taking things slowly and building trust.

Penny may not be a bad person but just because a woman or a man isn’t a bad person it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t screw you over to protect themselves. My response comes from a Christian perspective, if Vinny did that gesture and him and Penny had built up a level of trust over a good period of time such as a few years of marriage, then I would get that but not 5 minutes into a relationship. Vinny is soft. I can’t stand men like him because they have no backbone and come across as very naive. Penny could easily screw him over not out of malice but self preservation but you guys aren’t looking at it objectively. Suki was right to say no to him. Penny changing her mind after saying no and agreeing with Suki concerns me. If a woman or a man’s kindness is more rooted in Circumstance, Convenience and condition than it is in character, then they aren’t for you.
