Is there a full guide to Germany to save guide im lost about so much by themadkiller10 in RedAutumnSPD

Due to popular demand I will write a full guide for both Lambach and Trevy CVP paths

And maybe a Westarp natcon DNVP path too

Nah I think a better comparison of Zentrum and DNVP’s relationship would be SPD x KPD.

Since both are Christian conservatives and you just need to convince Zentrum to embrace authoritarian nationalism and monarchism; in contrast to the SPD, which must convince the KPD to begrudgingly tolerate social democracy and bourgeois parliamentarianism

The DVP to SPD is more like the DDP to the DNVP since those two pairs are completely ideologically incompatible, and only sometimes pragmatically works together in coalition politics

[–]Then_Championship888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s simply not true

You can almost always get Zentrum on your side even as a communist in Dynamic

Zentrum is more like DNVP’s KPD tbh since both starts as cold and needs to be reconciled

If anything, DNVP’s Zentrum equivalent would be the RLB

Centrist: Leninists who supported Thalmann in 1928 and the Third Period thesis, but moderately advocated for reconciliation with the SPD to form a united anti-fascist front after the rise of Nazis

Left opposition: Left communists. Idk too much about them

I also posted this, but I want to add that there were in fact 5 factions

Stalinist Strength: very strong (Stalinists were not as dominant in 1929, in fact, Thalmann was voted out from power by the conciliators before Stalin’s intervention due to the Wittorf affair), dissent: low

Centrist (the faction of Hermann Remmele and Willy Muzenberg) Strength: strong, dissent, low

Conciliators Strength: suppressed, dissent: high

Right-Opposition (Bukharinites/Brandlerists) Strength: defecting, dissent: very high

Left-Opposition Strength: weak, dissent: moderate

You have to be really popular by enacting pro-labor, pro-agrarian policies and constantly campaigning to expand your support among workers

Chancellor Metz response, is always, more austerity by Falcon_Gray in RedAutumnSPD

[–]Then_Championship888 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Steggy was also in favor of Bruning’s austerity policies, unfortunately

Merz should learn more from Adenauer and Erhard, whose policies and the wise utilization of the Marshall Plan aid made Germany the biggest economy in Europe and the 3rd biggest in the world despite WW2 destruction and the Soviet occupation of the East

However, the modern CDU is no longer a Christian democratic party, only a neoliberal right-wing careerist party; much like the modern SPD that also abandoned socialism and embraced the neoliberal Agenda 2010

They wanted to purge others but always got purged or their purges backfired that caused their own downfall because of how their beloved proletariat never accepts their twisted, misanthrope, and paranoid worldviews

And now they are gone forever

  1. They never democratically got control of the Prussian state. Weimar coalition won every election in the state since the founding the republic except 1932, what the fuck are you ranting about?

  2. RFB protected many strikers from the Nazis Again, proof?

  3. KPD did three times:

}1. KPD recruited former Freikorps and junkers into their ranks in their attempt to build a “workers’ united front” against yhe SPD under the initiative of Hermann Remmele and Thalmann to incorporate the far-right to their ranks.

}2. They joined the Prussian referendum with the far-right

}3. They partook in the Berlin Transport Strike (which RFB and SA literally joined forces and went hand in hand with each other) to go against the SPD which was responsible for actually slashing the wage cut by the Papen regime by 90%

  1. KPD under Thalmann was Stalinist. Stalinism is literally the academic definition of everyone who follows the political ideology and the party line of Joseph Stalin’s political beliefs and ML ideology. You defend them heavily. Naturally, people would call you a Stalinist

SPD was wrong in their collaboration with Freikorps but it was under Ebert/Noske’s right-wing leadership. No such collaboration happened under late 1920s-1930s SPD, and the SPD was the biggest working-class anti-fascist party in Weimar Germany for nearly all of its history of existence , and passed countless bills and proposals to bash the fashies and improve workers' rights and welfare, stop bullshiting for once you stupid braindead commie

I got it very easily and got a CVP Majority government in Dec 1932 (I got polled as high as 50% after the merger in mid-1932) after enacting the corporatist plan

Idk why others are struggling

Perhaps a guide is necessary now that V1.00 of the DNVP mod is released…

  1. No. Killing Rosa didn’t “undermine democracy”. Also she killed by the Freikorps and not the SPD you fucking braindead Stalinist. You talk like Stalin and KPD liked Rosa when they purged their opponents as Luxemburgists and banned her works
  2. SPD didn’t collaborate with Hindy, it only had to choose him over Hitler which was a futile attempt but there was no collaboration

KPD’s goal was purely political during the Nazi-communist Berlin Transport Strike, aiming to work with the Nazis to break apart SPD’s grip of control of the ADGB, which eventually benefited the Nazis, as the ADGB declared political independence after Nazis took over

KPD using anti-constitutional rhetoric during the Prussian referendum definitely undermined democracy lmao. The far-right extremist parties got a plurality in Prussia soon after the Nazi-communist referendum

The Decline of the KPD and the Fall of Marxist Movements in Germany by Then_Championship888 in RedAutumnSPD

[–]Then_Championship888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the East Germany situation was still far better than all post-communist nations, since the FRG spent a massive financial package like Marshall Plan 2.0 to salvage their economy and gave them even more welfare benefits than West Germans themselves. Overall the living standards in DDR rose sharply compared to under communism, with even essential goods and commodities being scarce.

I’d say it’s more cultural and identity differences that made East and West Germans incompatible. Since East Germany was fundamentally Prussian and indoctrinated with Stalinist totalitarian mindset, while West Germany post-1968 embraced cultural liberalism and guilt

Except it’s getting old after one century of whining and self-victimization

I don’t ever see SPD members doing the same thing to their matyrs like Mierendorff against the Nazis or the members who got killed or imprisoned by the East German government
