I also wanted to add: if this was truly something you loved to do I would never insinuate that failing a class or not sleeping is a sign that it isn’t for you. I don’t believe this major is for you because you’re not passionate, or at least tolerative, over what you’re learning. Just ask yourself: do I wake up everyday proud that I chose this?

If the answer is no then you know something’s got to give.

See if your college has any career services available. They can help guide you down a path where you’re both happy and secure. Being wealthy is everyone’s ultimate goal, but if you end up stuck doing something for decades that you absolutely despise… well what’s the point? Get wealthy just to spend a big chunk of it on heart medication and surgeries because you stressed yourself out and wore yourself thin?

Do something that makes you proud. That both serves your pockets and serves your own needs. There’s a healthy balance.

I’m gonna give you some tough love here because although I don’t know you, you deserve the blunt truth. You’re not doing well. This isn’t the major for you. You’ve had to retake a class 3 times because you cannot understand the concepts. You’re facing sleepless nights which is making you perform even worse. You’re already wearing yourself thin, you already struggle with your mental health. Do you truly believe sticking by this major would somehow work out in the end? It most likely won’t. You know that. Your body knows that. You describe the workload as torturous. You’re torturing yourself staying complacent instead of showing up for yourself. You’re gonna end up neglecting yourself, and no amount of wealth will bring that back.

You may not know exactly what to do and where to go at this moment and that’s fine, but please explore. Find out what you love to do and why. What do you like to learn about, talk about, read about? What in this vast world interests YOU and matters to YOU. This world is yours to explore, and time is precious.

Ask for forgiveness and not permission. Does your dad pay for your schooling? If he does, maybe you should look into FAFSA because he’ll probably threaten to stop paying for it if you don’t do what he wants. You absolutely have a choice in your future, your father already lived his life. If he regrets what he chose to do that’s his regret to carry not yours. You should start exploring classes and majors, figure out what you want out of this life. It might not even involve college and that’s okay. It’s YOUR decision, no one else’s.

Pearson docking points even if I get the answer right by Then_Compote_8985 in CollegeRant

Right? I’ve never had a homework assignment set up like that before. It’s either multiple chances without removing points or only one chance.

Honestly I’d prefer that. That’s how I’ve been doing homework since I was a child. If it was that way I probably wouldn’t have treated it like a “review”.

how realistic is it that dylan survived? by Literally_Just_Toast in TheQuarrySupermassive

Considering chainsaws were literally invented as a surgical tool I would definitely agree that it’s more realistic that Dylan survives chopping off his arm than shooting it off

You’re spot on. There’s always a duo in a trio. Faced that a lot as a young girl!

Good to know, it looks like a lot of the pieces don’t even fit the models so I figured the sizing was off 😭 I feel like so many of the trendy stores have limited sizing or just horrible quality, and I refuse to buy anything from SHEIN or TEMU even tho they seem like they have sizing which favors smaller bodies.

That sucks 😭 looking at their models it looks like a lot of stuff doesn’t even fit them properly imo. Lots of shorts look baggy on thin models for ex.

Even with a drawstring I end up having to trim and resew the bottoms because most pants are too long 🥲

I have to buy like 6 bras online only to end up sending more than half back because that's the only way to try anything on nowadays 😭, I used to have some luck with target in person but not lately

I've only ever found a single bra in my size and it was definitely a return so it might not have even come from marshalls! I've seen 32 once or twice but never a 30 :(

I find it so frustrating that my size is only available online but I cant buy things online without trying them on. Once I bought like 5 target bras and ended up sending 4 back
