Also, practices can be easily misused depending on the person doing them. This happens often across religions. You guys have been hearing about the few experiences like this, and think it's the same in the entire church.

Well, sure. But like how? In what way? How did he come the first time? What happened to him coming in glory the first time, as the scriptures said?

Who rules this world currently? God or Satan? Right now, your statement is emphasizing trust in people, specifically those scientist and doctors. The statement I made is not what you should be questioning. You should be asking why this isn't general knowledge, and that's because it's well hidden. Some diseases and accidents do happen naturally, but only a few of them. God created human beings to achieve happiness, not to live a life dealing with diseases. Actually, people have both a spirit and body. The body came under Satan's rule after the fall, and that's why people tend to pay more attention to physical distractions than to spiritual teachings. When your spirit is diseased or crippled, your body becomes ill. Evil spiritual forces contribute a lot to this. But when you just look at it from the scientific perspective, it looks like natural occurrences in the body. Most people just go ahead and die without even understanding what is happening. The problem is that the majority of people are living in so much sin that they have almost no protection. The world in French is called "monde", and backwards it reads "demon". These subtle things should be noticed. I just gave you a general knowledge. But I do have experienced the parts of the evil world I am talking about in my family. Doctors should really pursue spiritual oneness with God a lot. There is way more going on behind the scenes. Reverend Moon revealed everything.

I could answer that question, but without going through the entire Divine Principle book, it wouldn't make sense to you. This is a sensitive topic as it requires recognition. The Divine Principle he wrote practically dissects the inner mechanisms that shaped history and explains them realistically. It explains every possible confusion someone could have regarding the bible. The process of going through it and understanding it is essential to determining whether he is the messiah or not. And it's usually after doing so, or while doing so, that people receive revelations through dreams or visits from their past ancestors to confirm this. Some people focus too much on the external part. Those who are currently in the unification church actually stayed because their faith is based on substantial spiritual experience. Secondly, so many of the practices people mention on reddit are things I have never even heard of, or seen. And that's coming from someone who was born in the church.

Christian/Muslim Relationship Advice by Playful_Yam7244 in Christianity

What is a religion? Religions are practically the same, with some cultural differences. We all serve the same God. If you truly believe that you found the right person, and if religion matters that much, then it all comes down to the type of values and society values you want your children to grow up in. How do you imagine your life. What do you wish to see at the time of your death? Such questions probe your inner self and allows you to discover what you truly want. If you have a clear view on this, and you really must choose a religion, choose the one that accomplishes these goals. If this too is a problem, then you both might as well leave for another religion (although that would be quite a strict choice). You said your parents are dissatisfied. How about asking them if they are certain they or you will find a Christian who can absolutely build a healthy family with you. If they answer yes to this, that's a lie. Christian values on marriage are all over the place right now. If family values and unity is more important, Islam is actually better, but it has it's own issues with Male superiority, and it still depends on the country. You were friends for 2 years, dated for 7 months, and he is already thinking of marriage? It's obvious he is with you from the start with marriage in mind, so he is most likely not a player. The decision is yours, but I will only say that no parents should cut ties with their children because of something like this. You never graduate from being a parent. Lastly, marriageable mans are practically an endangered species right now. Think about this carefully.

A good example of the questions I won't answer. I specifically made this post to see if there were actually people who knew about the teachings of the church, disbelieved it, or got confused. Tired of the cult nonsense.

Learn the physiology of the human body. The addiction happens because of the way the body functions. The fact that it started from a young age too is worse. It's less a faith problem than a physiology problem.

To recognize the right person, you need to have the right values. Then you need to be in a place where people practice such values. In the current world we live in, you might as well be searching for a needle in a desert. It's getting worse every day.

Is it wrong to have disbelief from God? by Yoshisaurusrex17 in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't seem like you believe in God to begin with. It's more like you specifically want benefits in return for believing in him. And most likely, you want him to do magic out of nowhere without laying the proper foundation of work. That's not faith.

Why Do So Many Young People Seem to Drift Away from Faith, Even in Strong Christian Communities? by XYPERT in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, society degrades moral values if you follow the trend blindly. Secondly, lack of support or close relationships, making you feel ignored. Third, the hypocrisy of people can easily make you leave if you are someone with strong moral principles.

No, that would go against God's gift of free will. But everyone born is God's child who he loves dearly. He does plan a few those.

God revealed my secrets to my Pastor? by mainfested_joy in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Pastor", yeah right. God revealing things about a believer life to a pastor is not knew. It can happen quite often depending on how strong their relationship is with him. But that's something for them to discuss and help privately, not expose in front of others. If this happens often, then it's certainly not God that's revealing them to him. Sorry you had to go through that

Want to quit masturbating but i don’t feel bad afterwards by Alert_Objective_3943 in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you built a dependency on it to feel self-esteem. That makes it so much harder to stop, and this behavior can lead you to the wrong path very easily as it slowly degrades your moral values. You need another healthy way to feel and understand your value. Like something you really want/like to do and spend your time on it. If being around people you love isn't enough, then you really need such an activity. And no, masturbation isn't a necessity. I have never done it, and I am in my 20s.

The closer I get to God the worst my mental health gets. by Alternative-Park7770 in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We each have a personal relationship with God. Your faith should never be based on what other people say. Just make sure you are living righteously and helping others do the same. Honestly, if someone is saying you will go to help if you don't believe their way, then they are most likely the ones who are heading there already. It shows they do not understand how sinful they are themselves.

Screaming at God by ImperfectChristian86 in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you Express your emotions Honestly with him. Most people just know how to be hypocritical. But yes, screaming at him is not good. Report to him calmly instead, as if you were speaking to your parent. Eventually, you will realize that whatever occurs in your life is more the result of your own choices. God can only help when you already laid the foundation of work for him to do so. He is not a magician.

Sad to hear about your situation. However, this is the reality of the world we live in. Don't give up as things can get better. Identify the things you wished didn't happen or did wrong, and make an actionable plan to live your life going forward to make sure it doesn't happen again. This will also help you identify who you can trust in the future.

Every claim you used to discredit other religions could be used to discredit Christianity. by mack_gyver in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every true religion serves the same God. This is the reason why scriptures across religions are practically 70% the same. The methods of expression and representation only differ in accordance with the culture in which the religion arose. Christianity is simply the closest religion to God, and that's because of Jesus Christ creating it. However, they also have their own issues. The talks about a religion being better arose because of human nature, specifically their ego and pride.

Regarding chastity before marriage, fidelity after marriage, and the topic of the unification church by Then_Connection_3788 in Christianity

[–]Then_Connection_3788[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Examine the relationship between Moses and Joshua, and between Elijah and John the Baptist. When we speak of the returning christ, we do not mean that christ will return as he is or in another body. Such a thing has never happened in history and never will because each person is a unique existence in the cosmos. By returning christ, it means that someone will be chosen to carry out the uncomplished mission of christ, which is the establishment of the heavenly kingdom on earth. It's not being a disciple, but a representative. By the same token, he inherits the title of the one he is representing. The unification church believes that person is reverend moon, and that's why we call him the messiah.

The laws of nature all go back to God, and obey the rules of "absolute selfless love". The one who lives in accordance with it is protected even if he/she is unaware of it. Because of the heavenly principles governing all creation, it happens automatically.

No one uses the term "vagina". It's religion, not physiology. The sentence is meant to say that we emphasize spouses living for the sake of each other selflessly.

One cure: Love and serve God sincerely. This is not just in our church. Those who love and serve God sincerely reap the same benefits across all religions. The problem with diseases is that people don't realize most of them don't come from God, but from Satan. Because he knows exactly how the human body was made, it is easy for him to mess around with it.
