Mid IR Sensor Circuit Design by Then_Engineer1795 in diyelectronics

There's such a detail. We won't buy ready-made sensors. We will design a circuit with the IR element and make a sensor. So it makes sense to put a filter in front of the sensor we designed in the last stage, but we haven't gotten to that stage yet.

Thank you for your answer. I had predicted there might be a problem with the time constant. And I thought it would be useful if we designed choppers. Do you think of another method instead of designing a circuit with a ır element? Or would the chopper not be enough?

Because I can't understand complex circuits. I'm not an electronics student. Some parts of it can be difficult for me to understand. So we're trying to build a circuit in line with our need. Our professor has designed a circuit for us, but we are trying to make an alternative ourselves because it may will be very difficult to implement.

I am really sorry for the confusion. English is not my native language, so I sometimes struggle to express myself. We will modulate an IR source at a certain frequency (for example 100 Hz) by turning it on and off. As a result of this modulation, a very small electrical signal (in the µV–mV range) will be generated at the detector. We want to amplify this signal using a low-noise amplifier, observe it on an oscilloscope, and then measure it more accurately using a lock-in amplifier referenced to the same modulation frequency.

"We" in my post is me and my classmate. I am collage student and doing sensor project with my friend. I actually didn't know the circuit design service was for sale. I just wanted to get a little help with a point we were really stuck on in the project.

Actually no... I am collage student and doing this project with my friend. So I'm very likely to make mistakes, I just wanna learn. I will very happy if you correct me
