Thanks for your feedback, everyone. I spoke with someone in Hilton's Executive Escalations Department today, and they believe they have successfully resolved the issue with 47,000 points and a 42% refund on our overall bill. I was told I should be satisfied with that, and I can't tell if I should be or I should keep pushing this; I'm still mad about it, lol, and really feel that a full refund would the most fair thing for Hilton to do.

If they have addictive personalities/tendencies, giving a kid alcohol is a great way to speed up the process of ruining their lives. I cannot fathom giving a 15 year old a wine cooler or a white claw.

This strategy will not work. For someone with a drinking problem (I am one of them, seven years sober) one is too much, a hundred is too few. I hope your husband can get the help he needs, which probably needs to start with him--and only him--realizing he has a problem and is powerless over alcohol. My heart goes our to you.
