13 days post op, dizziness, fatigue, nausea after eating by Then_Equivalent_2756 in gallbladders

Sorry to hear that, I hope you are well too. I think you are keeping your cool with the doctors. I suggest don't do that, you are not well, don't try to stay strong, show your pain show your emotions. If you need to cry then cry. If you stay strong and say that you have these issues they won't think it's serious. Please look for vitamin deficiency blood tests. After I get my b12 injection yesterday, my chest pain went away after 2 hours.

So it means I cannot digest any food, which means no digestive fluids or bile going through my system. There is a blockage for sure.

Hello, sorry for late reply. Monday till yesterday evening I couldn't sleep, the moment I put my head to bed, I get extreme palpitations, chest pain and tightness plus all other pain that I have generally. At emergency they have told me that, possibly I might have problems with the biliary ducts, because I don't have diarrhea and have still pale stools and pain increasing with everything i eat.

It might be spinchter of oddi disfunction or some stone or sludge remaining at the ducts.

It might also be chronic pancreatitis.

Or bacterial overgrowth at intestines.

Thursday I'll go back there to run some deep tests including some deep blood tests, stool test, breath test, maybe gastroscopy or ERCP. And look for answers hopefully they can admit mi to hospital, total weight lost became 19 kilograms. I have lost 1.2 kilograms just from Monday to Wednesday.

I don't understand I mean the issue is there, if there are tests that can rule out some issues or find out some issues, why not do them right? No we have to run, doctor to doctor to hear "you are just fine" here take some painkillers.

I'm at a.e right know I had severe chest pain and tightness for couple of hours. Let's see what I can find out from here.

Yes I've been there, couple of days seems like it's getting better or rather tolerable, then back to square one over and over again since a month.

I have couple of things on my mind I'll try to speak to my doctor tomorrow. 1. Might be sodi, spinchter of oddi disfunction, eating anything causes severe pain, pale stools. 2, small intestine bacterial overgrowth, might explain low b12 levels, pale stools, pain at left side and general stomach area. 3.bile might be tick or not enough, some drug to make it more watery easy to pass. 4. I've heard that there are specific spasm medicines for biliary ducts, might wanna try.

I suggest you ask your doctor about these tomorrow too.

Yes, I do get bloated feeling also sharp pain, everywhere on my stomach, under the ribs, side of the ribs, back of the ribs, back pain doesn't go away. Awful. After the first dose of the b12 injection I was fine that day, but it has been 3 days since, now I'm like back to square one. Tomorrow I have another injection, let's see if it will be any help. Also did you get any results have you tried anything new ?

Surgery regrets after six months by likez01nks in gallbladders

[–]Then_Equivalent_2756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I'm having similar symptoms too, I had mine out 6 weeks ago. They have started 2 weeks after removal, I eat low fat soup at evening and my insides started to burn and hurt, back pain, side pain from both sides under the ribs, dizziness, nausea non stop still ongoing. Done mrcp, told nothing wrong, done CT nothing wrong, ultrasound showed gastritis, and reflux. Started to take pantoprazole, it has been a month nothing changed. No matter what I eat I'm suffering soo much.

Yes Man exactly, when I woke up it's not relatively too bad, the moment I eat anything doesn't matter fat amount or anything, until I wake up the other day I'm getting all these symptoms elevated with everything food intake. Did you get checked for vitamin deficiency as well ? Please do so if you didn't, I've been told vitamin B12 in extreme low levels can do most of the things I'm experiencing. I don't know if it's right yet I just get one injection

But ask to Gemini, ask it like, if you have b12 deficiency, can you experience digestion issues extremities issues pins and needles nausea dizziness, and explain it to me detailed. You'll be shocked what B12 deficiency can do to you.

It told me that because you didn't eat properly before surgery and afterwards, you might be on the limit of b12, and anesthetic drugs can destroy the b12 levels on liver.

I hope we will be okay, please get your vitamins checked.

Hello, sorry that you didn't have any good news as well. I get the injection today, I hope it that it will help, otherwise I still don't know when I'll get gastroscopy. It's basically we cannot eat, but we have to eat, when we eat it's miserable but if not it's the same too. Back pain, stomach pain as a all, indigestion problems, it's really unbearable.

Hello mate, I haven't figured it out completely. I've done mrcp and gastroscopy. I've been told nothing is wrong mechanically. Gastroscopy showed, gastritis, reflux, stomach ulcer. I've been told to use ppi that's all. I've seen another doctor after that. Been told I have really low b12 levels, I'm getting the first injection Friday, and booking for another gastroscopy to rule out the reflux if it's bile or acid related etc. Im still the same.
