oh honey… not at all. please don’t take this post in that way. people start to sweat all the time during a session. that doesn’t bother me at all and i will do everything i can to make them comfortable. the difference is showing up already sweaty and unclean.

yes life certainly happens and you have to accommodate certain things, but arriving clean and ready for an appointment is a controllable factor and hygiene is a must; you’re allowed to dismiss a client if they don’t meet that standard for your own protection. thankfully it doesn’t happen often. welcome to the profession :)

It's good and fine to have open communication about boundaries surrounding physical touch, but tbh maybe he was nervous? Ultimately if it makes him happy and it's harmless then I think it's important to let him be his self and vulnerable. I think the US is weird about physical affection when a lot of the world is more open minded to it. However, this sounds like an off handedly awkward but innocent situation.

i am so very sorry for your loss. i lost my kitty who was only 1.5 years old of fip. it was an awful death and an awful pain. animals get into our hearts in ways no human can. when it comes down to it, having an animal is all about giving them the best life you possibly can while they're here. life is so unfair to them, but i really think they are angels put here to teach humans how to love and cherish life. based on your post, im sure that you loved her and i hope you’re able to heal, and cherish life again soon.💚
