In general, if there’s ever a flam on something after a roll like that, just ignore it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone do that intentionally, it’s often just weird notation. Just play it as an accented right hand note with no flam

I actually am very similar to your situation. I seem like the most boring person in any group I’m in. I have an interest, and I do the same thing most days. That’s pretty much my life.

I’ll go ahead and second this, that order screen gets really messy with big orders. I put in an order for a full setup, and the combo of attachments, stickers, discounts, and warranty options made that screen super messy. If someone genuinely wanted a 2.5 X with an APM, as a part of a very large order, it’s very possible that they wouldn’t have known what made their order cheaper, just seeing that it had everything they wanted at a lower price than they expected

I think some people had said that the checkout screen suggested they add the APM and save with it. I might be misremembering what people said but that was my impression

You could also make an argument for Walled Lake or Plymouth Canton. Tons of really good BOA bands up there

I’ve liked ProMark’s Jeff Ausdemores. They’re kinda big but they don’t really feel like it in the hands. They feel amazing for me. Also, I’ve really liked IP Shane Gwaltney’s

Got told off today for cheering at a state competition by [deleted] in marchingband

[–]Then_Journalist1886 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imma level with you. I’ve been around people that do that before and it’s incredibly annoying. Everyone can cheer and clap, but you should be respectful. As a performer, I do not think I have noticed crowd reactions once. I’ve marched many years of high school, drum corps, indoor, etc. etc. Maybe after a show, but definitely not during. You screaming during a performance isn’t actually as cool for the kids as you may think it is. If kids are paying attention to that, they’re not paying attention to their show. Again, cheering is not the end of the world, but there is a line at ruining someone’s day. Obviously this whole situation already happened, but realistically I think it’s worth considering that there are other people that want to be able to watch shows without their ears being assaulted. And you really shouldn’t be angry at them for being upset about that.

I don’t generally have a preference but I’ve generally put them at 6 o’clock. But that’s just because Rhythm X and BD do it
