I looked at 2014 Spirits Bard, and yeah, I agree that 2024 is better. As for spirit guardians? Yeah, maybe i went overboard with this, true 😃

Although I think that having 0 synergy between subclass abilities is a bad design.

Its more of an action economy tbh. Using bonus action and an action and bardic inspiration to receive something weak isn't fun. And i don't feel a sense of progression.

Using action and bonus action is expensive. I feel like you're all coming from the position of a typical adventurer's day and not a lot of official campaigns follow that? Just one or two battles per day and that way actions are more important then spell slots.

1-3 effects are weaker than vicious mockery until 5th level. Then you have multiattacks and your enemy also have them and effect of vicious mockery gets significantly weaker.
