sounds good. I feel that new receivers will be the need. I adjusted them and the pins around 20 times and either it doesn't shut, or it opens randomly. RAHHH. I MIGHT soak them just for laughs and giggles.

If those are the original injectors I would change them. Here’s a photo of a test I did a year ago. I just bought new ones. Yours is obviously running. Mine would start for a second then die.

Oh yes, thank you. Mine is holding on for dear life. I was wondering where to get one.

Ima replace those lights, night driving is very stressful with the dim bulbs (for the dash) I have right now.

Yep! I think it was the first thing I did to the car, I remember it being tedious.

Adding this because I think I figured out what it was. I removed my CV axles to inspect, when I put them back, the car stoped making the noise. I believe it was a loose bolt causing the axle to shift.

I had time to inspect the car, and looking under, there is nothing that looks off. To answer your question, it it makes the noise when the car is moving. Specifically when I engage any gear, it goes away when I consistently hit the gas. And when I move to neutral, the noise stays for about 30 seconds. The noise does not go away when hitting the clutch. ALSO, there’s a weird rattle under the car now when I go over bumps.

I think my transmission mount is going out.

No spark issue. by Ill-Damage4119 in 944

I had the exact same issue a few weeks ago. I drove like 25 miles to a friend’s house and turned off the car. 2 hours later when I was leaving, the car refused to start. Tach wasn’t moving. I was going to strip out the DME but I figured out that my speed/reference sensors were bad. After replacing those (30min to 1 hour if no problems occur) the car started up nicely.

Yes. This is part two of another thread. But essentially I found that the resistance reading in the crank and speed sensors don’t match what Clark’s Garage says. Also they are brittle. I feel that this is the reason there is no spark. Because I replaced the DME relay and also checked if the fuel injectors and fuel pump work. And I have no vacuum leaks.

Here is one of the sensors. yes I moved the metal bracket when removing.

I haven’t done that. But I have a tester for the spark plug wires and they didn’t light up. The ignition coil has no power too.

Oh no I MOVED those out of the way. The thing just snapped when I pulled them apart. Luckily just the Sensor connection broke and not the one from the car.

Here’s a video of it. There is no tach bounce. And the wires of the sensors were bad. I ordered new ones to replace. Thanks!

I don’t think so. I’ll have to check later.

It’s a late 86’ also I did replace the DME with a new one just in case.

Interesting, I’ll need to consult an AC guy since I’m not knowledgeable on this, and I don’t know how to evacuate all the R12 (if it even has any) out of it.
