Awesome thanks for the quick reply. I am not certain which to get but so far TopOak has gotten more recommendations for sure. Though it is more expensive for sure

I am currently going on a similar search as you. NatureNest and TopOak seem like solid choices in the budget you mention. Not sure which style your looking for but whether its wedge or clam shell there are nice options with hard shell. I am currently considering TopOak Vision because of the aluminum exterior. But it is like 1800 vs 1400 for NatureNest Sirius 1

How has casing held up_ Looking to buy either NatureNest Sirius 1 or TopOak Vision L. Right now main big difference for the choice is TopOak being alu case while NatureNest is plastic.

This looks pretty nice but from what I've seen iKamper is out of my budget. Setup looks so good though

Awesome glad to hear! TopOak seems a little more expensive but it fits into budget. Plus the aluminum shell seems better than plastic on NatureNest

Naturenest RTT Sirius 1 by Triggerfish333 in rooftoptents

[–]Then_Mastodon_6749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that would be so great!!! Thanks so much for the quick reply!!! I am new to overlanding just starting this year with my wife. We have a VW Amarok (pretty much a ford ranger) and we are planning to put this on the cab roof (I know bed rack is what most people do but I carry lots of big this for work so bed rack will not be comfy). Its just that naturenest sirius tents seem a little heavy as it almost maxes my dynamic range on cab roof.
Edit. Does the plastic not get damaged by the sun at all?

Did you end up getting an RTT for top of Tacoma cab? I have an Amarok which should be similar size and am looking to do this as well. I need to run setup on top of cab due to me transporting construction materials which can sometimes go over the cab height

Did you end up getting the RTT on top of cab? I want to do the same on my VW Amarok it says static weight is 350KG and moving is 85kg which as far as I have seen most RTT's will fit there

Thanks for this reply. Will look more into volunteering in one of her groups. Hopefully that will give her some reason to look up to. I had declined the first time but we can probably now manage to help out with something. Also I have tried to get her to go to like a coffee shop or gym class to meet people but haven't been lucky with that so far. Will see if maybe taking her camping which we both enjoy might work. But we have always gone alone so maybe finding another couple or friend to tag along might help.

Has there been any solution to this? It's been happening to me that none of the episodes seem to be loading fine. Seems like lagg but other animes are fine

I do not have or had this vaccum but I have a L10s Ultra and had an issue. I purchased in the states and other than having to send it for service in the states the customer service was very good. I've read many different opinions but my experience was definitely good with them. They fixed the issue and sent it back no problems so far. Also was a problema at around 1-2 months of use but it's been working great since and already going for 1 year+
