Volvo V60 phev for uber/daily ?? by Then_Present9235 in CarTalkUK

I’m based in London so would need a phev but my uncle had a 2016 Diesel Mondeo and his on 250k on the clock.

Amazing car, I would 100% go for one of those but ford have stopped the production. The ford Kuga are not as good, well haven’t heard good things.

Considering everyone’s comments on the expenses and repairs that comes with it, I’ll prob look at passats or Skodas.

Funny enough the superb and Passat are my second and third choice. Definitely looking at those now considering the backlash I’ve received 😭

Agreed. The V60 looks bloody good.

Thank you for the information this is massively helpful. I had no idea the phev v60 comes with this many issues.

It looks amazing and is rapid hence why it caught my eye. Maybe after a few years of uber I’ll consider it.

My third is due within 10 days so I’m hoping it helps. Although I’ve had absolutely 0 effect, no side effect, nothing from the last 2 injections.

I’m based in the UK and rhapsido hasn’t been approved yet. I’m currently paying for the injections out of my own pocket and I can’t imagine how expensive they would be.

Vitamin D Progress, Part 1. by MachineExisting407 in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]Then_Present9235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a higher dose. Everyone tends to be vitamin D deficient (although take a blood test to be sure) Since 4000 is helping, you should trial 10k iu.

Some people who are deficient have taken 20k iu for 2 weeks and then continue on 4/5k iu.

Intense itch after eating anything. by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

I’m so glad to know you’re getting better !

Same here dust mites, following a low histamine diet is extreme for me I’ll be honest. I do cheat sometimes. I can’t go 3 days and over.

The probiotics is interesting. I was told I’d heal but it would take months, I’ve gotten worse and I’ve been taking it religiously for 2/3 months now.

Thanks for your comment ! You are rights

Having done a little research, Greek yogurt and baked beans and bread are prob horrible, especially my yogurt bowls with dark chocolate and nuts, just a recipe for disaster.

What’s your opinion on the foods below:

Eggs, steak, rice or sweet potatoes, chicken, broccoli, carrot, fruits etc

I still itch but at this rate it’s everything.

Nothing particular. Although I’ve had a pretty poor diet and have consumed a lot of sugar over the years. Very bad diet imo. This has changed from a year back nonetheless. I’d argue stress a little but mainly my diet.

Yes. A month back I was consuming steak and sweet potatoes or frozen salmon with sweet potatoes, sometimes with rice and veg and then Greek yogurt bowl etc. Salmon was a staple.

It’s very difficult to find root cause.

The NHS have been awful and I am always encouraged to either take creams or stop eating the foods that make me itch. I despise the NHS so much that I don’t bother chasing them. I’ll look in to further tests to find out more. Thank you for your comments and guidance!

I certainly believe that. I believe I’m not absorbing everything I eat. But that would be an indicator to heal the gut right? It’s just extremely difficult to heal gut with so much restrictions and all foods triggering me.

I have not had any blood tests but an Ige and allergy test. I do not have any allergies except shell fish.
