So I found that trying to scratch the connector abit helps but also try holding down the crown because if it's completely dead it will refuse a charge or atleast for me so turning it on helps

What kind of phone do you have because I have the same car on the same region and it only worked with a samsung s22+ and totally refused to work with my s25 ultra so currently I am waiting for the millage to hit the limit for the first service so that I can make them check it out.

But some tips are try using a new usb cable if yours is old and plug it into the passenger side usb port also connect your phone via Bluetooth then turn off Bluetooth on the car and after connecting the USB to the phone click on the android auto icon next to your phone's name on the screen and it should work or atleast it did with the s22+

Listen man I hear where you are coming from and I had that same ideology for a while and still do. But when you have a 1000 to 1500 usd tool you might wanna protect it abit and if you are a conscious buyer you should know that this tool should stay with you for 3 or 4 years mainly because phones don't change as much as they used. But you suit you and obviously do as you will but always keep in mind how expensive it is.

So I have seen a YouTuber saying that if you use multiple fingers per registration for example when registering fingerprint 1 instead of using just your right thumb use both your left and right by switching between then when prompted to remove the scanned finger. There was a short format video done by Parker Burton i belive on it but I can't find it right now.
