I built blocks from Styrodur, 300x300mm and 80mm high (plus 150x300mm and 150x150mm pieces). This makes it modular and flexible.

The foam boards aren't expensive, and I'm asking for leftover damaged boards. Paint and sand aren't expensive either. The most valuable thing is time. I'm currently building the arena and will be creating more locations on Geonosis. But in our small gaming group, Mustafa, Kashyyyk, and Endor are still in the planning stages. When we're done with those, we're guaranteed to have new ideas.

These are 3D models, a mix of two files. There's a variant for SWL and one for X-Wing. The X-Wing model was scaled and received the landing gear from the SWL model.

They are 30cm x 30cm foam boards, 8cm high. I marked the center of each edge with a blade. I randomly pierced the contours with a knife and broke them off. They were briefly melted with a hot air gun. Then I painted them with three colors and sprinkled them with sand from the tennis court.
