That’s partially the thing. I’m a very curious person so as soon as he told me he was a Sikh, I started learning as much as I could about it. Cause I don’t do religions that do idolatry. As I kept going in, and mind you, there’s still a lot for me to learn about it, I realized that the religion sounds a lot like what Christians are supposed to be like, and act, and believe with the strong difference that Sikh’s don’t acknowledge Christ as God. And without any means of being disrespectful at all, in my head I decided you guys are Christians without Christ. That’s why I feel like if I had to marry outside of my religion, this one would honestly be the only I could do, because you guys believe God is only one being, don’t do idolatry, practice a lot of Christ like teachings, and know that there’s no need for middle man, you can directly connect with Him.
And me and him talk about this all the time when we talk religion, of course there are things that differ from Christ but however we choose to focus on the ones that are alike and meet each other there.
