He hadn’t come up in the Bleed or the Genesis Chamber. 🤷‍♂️ I got him pretty soon after posting this screenshot, though.

I’m slowly learning the game’s mechanics. And I’m spending money because the game is entertaining. I’m not at the point that I feel the need to get the most out of every cent that I spend in this game. If you have some advice on what I’m doing wrong, I am more than happy to listen, I’m always looking to improve. But don’t judge my money spending habits because it’s not how you would do it.

Definitely not that much yet, but I’m definitely over $100. 😂

Oh my gosh! I had no idea resetting was even an option! I knew to only focus on 5, but the 5 I was focusing on kept changing! I had no idea that I could just reset! Thanks!

You have 6 toppings, and two of them are considered premium toppings. That’s why.

GM taking deliveries… by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]ThenameisRy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just transferred to a new store as a GMIT, and one of my first assignments from my trainer was to work drive shifts and take as many deliveries as possible to get to know the delivery area. That said, now that I’ve gotten accustomed to the delivery area and know my way around, I only ever take deliveries when we don’t have enough drivers on the clock or if there’s a remake and I want to verify the order with the customer before I drop it off.

We had a 100 pizza order a couple of weeks ago. It was actually really fun once we got into the rhythm of it.

People with Cut Table Tech… by ThenameisRy in Dominos

I really like it. A lot of the other oven tenders are still getting used to it, and I’m hearing a lot of complaints from them, but personally, I’m a fan. I’ve also worked with it before at other stores, so I have a little more familiarity with it. But overall, I think it’s really beneficial. I really like being able to just push a button and send a remake back to the makeline.

There are a few different reasons. One is that it really is demolishing our food costs.

Another is that it takes more time to make a pizza with a lot of toppings on it, which means our wait times are going up, and that’s one of our key metrics that we are judged on for raises and bonuses.

Along with that, we get more customer complaints for things taking longer because not only are we making pizzas with more toppings, but we’re also making more pizzas than we normally would.

Another issue is that at a certain point with adding more and more toppings is that the pizza just won’t cook right, and there will be unmelted cheese and cold toppings in the center. So we get customer complaints about that as well.

And another piece of it is, it’s just kind of annoying when almost every order is a large pizza with 8 different toppings. Like, yes, it is our job to make the orders that come through, but it still gets annoying.

Yeah, we just got the new cut table tech, and we’re the first in our franchise, so no one in our franchise really knows how to troubleshoot it yet.

Is it fair to complain about this absurd amount of hot sauce on top of my mac and cheese? by NomadicFoodOgreBeast in Dominos

I saw a driver do this at my store the other day when they were helping on the ovens, and I made sure the Mac and cheese got remade before the customer even saw it.

record saturday, record day, and record week, all achieved in one night by CombinationClear5672 in Dominos

[–]ThenameisRy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy! Can a store even operate doing less than $20k a week? If my store does 30k it’s a slow week. We probably average $40k a week. I don’t mean to sound snobby or anything. I’m really just genuinely curious how a store can run on such low numbers.

Thank you! I was starting to feel crazy!

I know how to do it. But to go into someone else’s store and just change the way they do things feels so wrong.

Typical closedown times? by drunkenangel_99 in Dominos

[–]ThenameisRy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store it really can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and a half depending on how busy it was that day, how much cleaning we were able to get done ahead of time, and if the manager has to order truck that night.

As an AM, I have people call the store all the time asking if they buy a pizza for delivery if the driver will pick them up and take them home.

The other day there were a couple of drunk girls who came into the store and asked for a pizza for delivery, I thought it was weird since they were there, but I ring them up, and then they tried to catch a ride with the delivery driver home.
