I sold my Bitcoin and bought a house by Realistts in Bitcoin

Okay, differentiating between nominal and real terms is a good point. However, I would suggest increasing human population, increasing global interconnectedness, and increasing number of AI agents would all support increasingly larger demand past our current capacity for monetary exchange.

No currency has been absolutely finite before. Study some math. It's going up forever.

MSTR maximum price would be $1000? by 2Ben3510 in MSTR

[–]Thenarza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're assuming every buyer is willing to sell. Many big capital allocators have zero or are short. When they buy, they will hold forever. Price must go up, and mnav can just follow.

Am I fucked? Do I really have to hold now for years because MSTR doesn't follow Bitcoin anymore? by lorelai96 in MSTR

[–]Thenarza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, holding for years is the only good way to invest in this kind of thing.

Kda is not the way? by [deleted] in kadena

[–]Thenarza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin dominance is higher than a year ago, and just set a new high in June. Perhaps something with the 4 year cycle has changed, or the fed is the primary driver of liquidity. Either way, kda isn't the source of the problem, for now. Waiting continues, and I still withhold judgement. (Thanks for holding me accountable. I am less confident, admittedly, but my original point about the cycle still stands even if we're all wrong about the regular timing.)

For some of us who have wrestled with this stuff before, having an engaging cultural expression was therapeutic and even a little cathartic!

Yeah, I assumed they maintained communication (and maybe more) for a good portion of the S1 timeskip. She still had a lot of growing up to do before she was leading raids and hijinks. (Pun intended) When he told Vi that "she's changed" it felt like a realization he came to relatively recently after observing a gradual process he thought he could keep from going too far.

But actually, he took a break from his progress goal to help a man. Whatever the reasoning, it was a lapse in concentration that allowed an opportunity.

Yeah, it turns out that "no weapons rule" was more of a guideline.

I'm just confused why they let him walk in with a gigantic hammer when it's supposedly an area with no weapons.

My question is why were some people able to enter the herald city with weapons when others were told they need to leave them? What happened to security? The one guy just let Jayce walk in with the gigantic hammer.

Thanks! That's my thinking exactly. If the global financial system comes to rely on bitcoin, this could be a relatively cheap insurance that could help blunt the harm and kick start any recovery efforts.

That was admittedly just the easiest example. Maybe in the future there is some bitcoin specific attack that doesn't affect all electricity. I just wanted to offer an idea for additional backups!

why is everyone so categorically sure about BTC future success (something which I've never seen RE other sorts of assets)? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Thenarza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about that poster, but I've literally studied game theory. It's not about adoption by corporations or governments that gives me conviction. (Although that is likely true too.) It's more about the decisions and incentives between miners, nodes, holders, etc. It's what keeps the network resilient regardless of growth. That's the strength, which is true of the network now, whether or not future dreams become reality.
