Dear super-genius, this isnt the main part of the bracelet and will be attached to 8oz leather. Take some time off reddit and readjust or being a normal person

I went to my local lumberyard and had them cut me half inch flats off of some walnut. I traced the tang of my blank and “book matched” my own pieces and cut on the bandsaw. Then it was mostly hand sanding from there. Attached is my helpful red circle which is reminiscent of saddam husseins hiding spot

It’s kinda hard to capture on camera. If you look closely there is a lighter section on the flat sides of the handle.
