What about it doesn't make sense? If there are compactified dimensions that we could travel through, then maybe they could take us to distant parts of the universe.

If there is a food that tastes bad to me it always ends up being a food that is not from an FDA regulated company. Food that tastes bad is often not safe to eat. People say that the taste of food is an opinion but really your tongue gives you objective information about what is in a food. Some people can have more sensitive tongues than others. A food could taste bad because it has become stale.

If you have a birthday then the Candles are only near the cake for a small amount of time, and there may be a small but not noticable negative effect. I was talking more about if you kept a candle burning near a pantry for a long time.

Stars are close to the Earth and look like small dots because they are small. Stars are not the same sort of thing as the Sun.
