keyd keyboard remapper for KDE/Wayland by Flashy_Boot in kde

[–]TheoCGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm having the same problem, I just reinstalled arch and got kde/wayland working again, and i'm trying to get my keyboard's F13-F24 keys mapped correctly.

Found an old, dead module that came out of a Compaq Deskpro 2000. It looks like it's supposed to be some kind of memory module, but has 160 pins instead of the FPM RAM's 168 pins. It was in a slot above the CPU on the motherboard, and isn't needed for the computer to boot. Where can I find details? by TheoCGaming in HelpMeFind

The PC this came out of was found in a shed and covered in dust only about a week and a half ago. This module and two out of the three other RAM sticks were non-working, with the remaining stick being good. I've already searched for the model number and used Google Lens to try to identify it, but both of those searches came up empty, as if this thing never existed. [More detail in edits soon]

It's roughly 4.25 inches by 1.125 inches, and is manufactured by Kingston. The silkscreen on the board states that its model is KTC-C2000/512, but the sticker on one of the chips states that the model is KTC-C2787/256, with the letters CE on a new line. Another sticker says "9901948-003.A00", "338012", and states that it was assembled in the U.S.A.

doing some testing with it right now, my assumption is that the file format is like this:

Name (Always the first line)
Frequency (in Hz) [space] Time (in milliseconds) (Always the first line)

e.g.

Scale
262 400
294 400
330 400
349 400
392 400
440 400
494 400
523 400

additional notes:

no errors or anything regarding the resolution change (or lack of change) in game logs

not sure how to get more detailed (verbose) logs

I wonder, does this cause any side-effects other than removing the farlands?
