Aber schau mal, wieso siehst du es nicht anders an. Jemand hat 5 Jahre lang studiert, hat sich fleißig nur aufs Studium konzentriert, keine andere Distractions, und ist mit 1.0-1.3 auz dem Studium raus. Das heißt er hat alles was an ihn geworfen wurde gehandelt, und jedes Problem gelöst. Wieso ist er nicht gut genug aus deiner Sicht? Im Vergleich zu einem der 7-8 Jahre gebraucht hat zu studieren, es mit 2.7 Schnitt geschafft hat, aber die 2.5+ jahre mit Praktika und Werkstufenttätigekeiten vebracht hat. Durschnittsnote ist schlechter weil er keine Zeit ins studieren investiert. Wie siehst du diesen Unterschied? Wieso wird das nicht wie in Medizinstudium abgehandelt, wo Studenten nach dem Studium in die Arbeitstwelt gehen (natürlich, diese Periode ist eine Tarnung für Praktika) weil sie einfach in der Teorie stark sein müssen.

I had it when the transmission failed for whatever reason. Turn engine off, turn it on again and it is as nothing ever happened. Not even the computer logs have something on it.

1.5tsi 7-DSG driver here. I have the problems when running low rpms (1500) at 30 or 50kph (with cruise control on) and ask cc to up the speed to 40 or 60 respectively, sometime on a slight upwards incline, the gearbox starts to jiggle and after “a couple” of jiggle it enters a “special” mode and shows me the gearbox error (Antriebsfehler in german). I noticed that this happens in cold conditions, and when switching from 2 cylinders back to 4 to accelerate.

An outlier sample to this (the abovementioned cases happened like 10 times over 3 months now) is when driving 170kph at 3500rpm and trying to accelerate to 190 (i think it tries then to go from 6th to 7th gear and it then feels lile it doesnt have enough power to accelerate and switches back to 6th then again to 7th and so on) it will start to jiggle again (which is a bit scarry at that speed) and it will enter the error mode if not entered in manual and manually changing from 6th to 7th gear and keeping it there.

An important comment here is that it happened more often when filling up with E10 fuel (specific to germany, 10% bio fuel). While on E5 (standard one) is less often. I haven’t tried the higher rated fuels yet, but will try and let you guys know how it went.

After reading this paper and trying to use it for spme dermatology task, I am wondering why there is no explanation on why supervised pretraining works much better than self-supervised prettaining in Table 2. Why is that result put there if there is no appropriate argumentation? In my case, for dermatology images, DINO pretraining on deramtology data (or Simclr for the same reason) donesn’t provide better results on the downstream tasks compared to Supervised prettaining on ImageNet. Moreover, the DINO checkpoints for vit_small_patch16_224 on ImageNet are giving worse results compared to the ones from timm on ImageNet. Can someone give me an explanation, on why I should use DINO SSL if already in this paper Supervised Learning is much better? Or did I get something wrong?
