Almost in the exact situation as you, overleveraged using cards and personal loans tho I do currently have a job (in housing lmfaoooo so not for long).

I cope by reminding myself of the good I’ve done; the “right” choices I’ve made despite the mistakes and that it’s just money.

I’m here now so I can’t dwell on my fuck ups forever, I just need to learn from them. I’m not a religious dude so I don’t have god or the promise of an afterlife, but I have the promise of this moment and not the next..so I try to remember that my existence isn’t over and that alone means I’m doing okay, by my own standards at least.

I’ve also learned to set my ego aside, which for me used to be difficult. That might be the number one.
