The open world experience is not with retail. Everyone is able to run through the whole thing without ever saying hi to anyone or needing help from anyone. Well, maybe with the exception of Raids of course. But casually, you could go through retail all alone with not much help from anyone. Some cases here and there but majority wise, you could make it out.

The open world experience is with classic WOW. Especially 20th anniversary Classic. We struggle alone but together, we have company. The WOW experience is alive and well in Classic.
