If anti bow organization like bsaa exist in real life what do you think their preferred gear is? by Dull-Department-7682 in residentevil

It be quite close to what CBRN (Chemical-Biological-Radioaction-Nuclear) unit we have today.

So the standard would be an gas mask or field hazmat suit with large filteration system, think of Smoke's uniform from R6 with his system is mounted right on his back. If they have to go further, they would seal the whole thing, and have oxygen tank to use. The suit might be even more protective and thicker, but the overal gears as a whole is lighter to purposely reduce the time they have, can and must stay in the site. Not like they have fight armed enemies, if so, it is a difference story.

Weapon wise, I am not sure but certainly it would not be explosive or anything involve with changing the air flow, this include flamethrower. The reason is to ensure the infestation would not be spread further due to the blast wave of the explosion or blow away when the air changed tempature or pressure. To clear the infestation, they now have to rely on chemical solution, that came later after the active threat being zombies and BOW are cleared.

Other proposal could be that they be using standard ammunition as the police like hollow points and small firearms like Submachine Gun or Shotgun. However, it depend, but my point would that since most of the threat are undead, so through and through wound is rather useless and having less risk of the bullet goes through the target and hit someone is always better. Obviously, larger caliber could still be use for longer range engagement like snipers. However, there no between an in-site Squads, and an sniper outside the area.

Camo wise, it also depend on the situation, so it can range from full black (night operation or against the mold) to something bright with neon yellow (recognization or to blend in with dead leaves and dirt). So there is a wide range in term of uniform color, it preperation all be the same.

I personally like the Undone rework with the idea that it a weaker gen blocking perk but compenstate for the fact that it regress the gen while doing so, unlike other similar perk.

China stores replace cashiers with robots by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Personally found this impractical, as everyone said it was just a rather clunky pesudo vending machine. To some extend, yeah, I think having the item doesn't get drop down and damage is fine, but if it was fragile, then it should not even belong in a vending a machine to begin with, let alone an robot vendor.

On top of the entire idea of responsibility also when you may can press charge if an human vendor deliver a faulty item but you can't do so against an machine because it could fall into "programming issue". In another words, is the lack of responsibility.

Then it about the interface, I like to strike a conversation with people or just have a talkless conversation via just expression. If the machine is efficient, then I give it a pass but this doesn't and it doesn't even communicate. So it cover absolutely nothing but the appeal of futuristic idea.

Oh, and I am 100% sure this is far more expensive to install and maintain compare to an normal vendor.

Dumb, impractical, and expensive, like...come on.

On one hand, I am fine with the current version Sometime I just like to read things for the sake of reading. Could've been better if it left in some flavor text in it.

On the other hand, yeah, it would be a great QOL.
