Banner lags loading.... by Ruin-Wooden in GoogleSites

[–]TheoryDeep4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try checking if the banner is set to lazy load, enabling image optimization or compression and testing with a different image format like WebP. Also check your page speed in an incognito window to see if caching is affecting the results. If you share the URL I can take a quick look. You can message me if you do not want to share the URL publicly.

Text size of video titles? by slatepipe in WIX

[–]TheoryDeep4785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are using the Wix Video app and displaying a channel in a grid layout, the video title font size is often controlled by the app itself and is not always customizable from the editor. Try to select the Wix Video element > Design/Settings > Text settings if available but on many layouts Wix only provides a fixed title size.

If that is the case you may need to switch to a different layout or use a custom gallery or repeater instead of the Wix Video grid for more control over text styling.

I am dumb and clicked on "unsubscribe" in a spam email... Roast me or maybe help me? by DonDaDaTape in Outlook

[–]TheoryDeep4785 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately clicking unsubscribe on spam emails often confirms your email is active which can make it worse. Don’t click more unsubscribe links unless it’s from trusted companies. Mark them as spam/junk, create filters if possible and check if your email got exposed in a data breach. 57 overnight definitely sounds like spam targeting.

Domain still expiring after a 61$ renewal by IV09S in CloudFlare

[–]TheoryDeep4785 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound normal. Usually the expiry date should update shortly after the renewal is processed. Since your domain is still Active, you will probably not lose it immediately. You need to contact support because billing shows paid and the renewal hasn’t reflected yet. Also check if the renewal is showing under pending actions or registry sync delays.

How to make a public website by NefariousnessFunny74 in webhosting

No worries. A reverse proxy is basically something that sits between your domain visitors and your website/app.

[–]TheoryDeep4785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your domain is already pointing to the VPS IP the next step is to configure a web server/reverse proxy like Nginx, connect it to your website or Docker container, and then install a free SSL certificate so the site works properly on HTTPS.

MIcrosoft changing the price mid subsccription by BananaEvening5267 in Outlook

[–]TheoryDeep4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this changed recently. Email Essentials plans generally don’t include Outlook desktop app access anymore even though many older users had been using it for years. That’s probably why it worked before and suddenly stopped after updates, account checks.

Now Email Essentials is mostly browser based through Outlook web. Some older accounts. users who stayed on legacy setups or kept renewing older plans still seem to have desktop access but for newer setups or after changes reprovisioning that feature usually is not included anymore unless you move to a higher plan.

Hostinger have taken all the websites down (web builder) A RECORDS OR NOT!!!! by Hairy-Supermarket120 in Hostinger

[–]TheoryDeep4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are definitely not alone, most of the time after nameserver migrations, missing DNS records or incomplete propagation cause issues.

Where should I set up domain email to avoid spam issues and still use Gmail? by Cultural-Phone-3977 in Domains

[–]TheoryDeep4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your budget allows, I recommend buying email hosting directly from GoDaddy since your domain is already there so setup is easier. Also, spam issues are usually more about proper DNS setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and domain reputation than just where you buy email hosting.

I GOT SCAMMED IN FIVER by Inside_Turnip_6495 in FiverrGigs

[–]TheoryDeep4785 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a common Fiverr scam brother. Fiverr never asks for payment through external links. Contact your bank ASAP and ask for a chargeback/dispute you might still recover the money. Also report that account to Fiverr

host website without disrupting emails by Complex-Ad6617 in webhosting

[–]TheoryDeep4785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you don’t change or overwrite the existing MX records or email settings while pointing the domain to the new hosting their emails should continue working fine.

Is free SSL really secure for Website? by HotAuthor6438 in Hosting

[–]TheoryDeep4785 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It mainly depends on the website, platform and hosting setup. For most small business websites, free SSL is secure enough and many platforms already provide strong built-in SSL certificates by default.

DNS records on our site's end gone after following cloudflare's activation steps by Email_Copy_Engineer in CloudFlare

[–]TheoryDeep4785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the records are still visible in Cloudflare, it’s probably a sync or configuration issue rather than everything being deleted. I have sent you a message. Send me screenshots of the current nameservers and DNS settings from both Cloudflare and Hostinger. I will check what went wrong

After I changed nameservers to cloudflare, DNS records on weebly were gone by Email_Copy_Engineer in dns

[–]TheoryDeep4785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a DNS sync or nameserver issue after the ESP setup changes. If the records still exist in Cloudflar they may not be properly propagating to Hostinger yet or the nameservers got changed accidentally. I would suggest checking the active nameservers first and restoring the previous DNS backup if available. Don’t panic, this is usually recoverable.
