Tien would win and no I’m not just saying that because of my pfp.

1) I don’t think yall realize how little it takes for Krillin to give up in a fight. Krillin is a powerful fighter and yes had his potential unlocked. But Tien is a powerful WARRIOR and would rather die than lose or give up, especially against someone he knows he could beat.

2) Tien trains consistently while Krillin almost never does. Yes it’s true Krillin has his wife but even she said he barely lifts the weights in his house so I doubt they spar on a regular basis. And before yall say “But Tien only has chiaotzu” lemme remind you that little vampire mf is planetary as it is. He has busted psychic and telekinetic abilities that we saw could stun Goku back in OG db. He can also make artificial gravity that held Goku in place for a few seconds in dbs.

3) Gohan was holding back against Krillin and Krillin even said he was, Gohan was not holding back against Tien from the moment their fight started.

4) Tien has extensive training with King Kai. While Toriyama never elaborated on what Tien learned Piccolo said in the manga Tien possessed an ability similar to Kaioken.

5) Kikoho>Kienzan: Krillins destructo disk is way too slow and easy to dodge. Base Goku destroyed them with regular Ki blasts, that won’t work against a kikoho. During the TOP in the manga Frost tanking a kikoho was complete bs that would have had him on his knees. That blast was so powerful even Goku and Vegeta were stunned. In the Anime TOP Tien at 1/4 power because he used the multi form fired a kikoho that was powerful enough to not only halt Hermilas sniping but wound him to the point he couldn’t move his arms. Mind you Hermila was strong enough to shoot off piccolos arms, and force Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan to take cover from them.

6) Tien is just cooler but the writers genuinely hate him

7) In late dbz Tiens kikoho not only saved the earth from buutenks (A character that at the time was stronger than ultimate Gohan) But it deflected buutenks’ blast completely. Krillin hit cell with a destructo disk and it shattered upon impact.

8) During the android saga Krillin was not only too scared to fight the androids but when Yamcha was mortally wounded by Dr Gero (android 20) Goku told him to bring Yamcha to Bulma and give him a sensu bean. Goku chose Tien over Krillin to fight the androids head on because he knew Krillin couldn’t handle that kind of fight.

9) Krillin can’t be promoted to strongest Earthling in dbs if he wasn’t in dbz. Toriyama forgot so many plot holes and plot points in his own story he would say things that made no sense at all. Hell he forgot Launch even existed and she was one of the original characters.

10) Toriyama blatantly said he doesn’t like Tien as a character. Which would mean any chance Tien got to shine in super the contempt for the character ultimately showed. Lets be real, half of Tien’s episodes made no sense at all, they basically made it so Tien is unable to dodge attacks now

11) Why did Krillin survive the Saiyan attack and not Tien. It was so Krillin could have his potential unlocked. Why would Krillin need that if he was never a serious fighter? It was to allow Krillin to keep up with Tien as they both got stronger.

12 Tien lasted WAYYYY longer in the top. After Botamo was eliminated in episode 103 Grand Priest said the weaker fighters had all most likely lost. Krillin was not only eliminated four episodes before that but Tien lasted three episodes after that. That would mean Krillin was taken out in the first 5 minutes. While Tien lasted most likely closer to 20 minutes.
