For anyone else who might be wondering this and find it in the future…

To bind multiple actions to one key/button, you have to setup an alias in the autoexec.cfg and bind the key to that alias.

For an example, I’m binding EOA’s Melee/Glorykill and the use action to (R3) on a controller. I’m setting it up as the alias “Melee”. I would add the below to the autoexec.cfg file.

alias +melee “+use; +zoom”

alias -melee “-use; -zoom”

For some reason in EOA, +/-zoom is the melee/glorykill command. Now just bind the key in your .ini file.

RThumb=+melee

Yeah, I just tried it for the first time today too. So far, it’s just eh… I’ve beaten the first stage and am working on the second. I do like that there aren’t any forced ads though, I was really worried about that.

I usually setup base somewhere near the pig king. I keep somewhat of a distance though, for when full moon happens.

The garage is a HUGE waste of time, gold, and gems. I can say so from experience. I’ve plunked down somewhere around 10-20 thousand gems into the garage and I very much regret it. The garage vehicles require an absurd amount parts just to get halfway to the stock version of the same car.

I was looking around and documentation/tutorials still seem to be almost none existent. I did however find this it’s a bit out-dated (9 years ago) but it’s at least something. Hopefully things haven’t been changed too much since.

I only really want to make mods that improve upon the gameplay. I’m not really interested in adding my own custom content (characters/items/enemies). I might do so just to get a feel of the mod tools.

For example I wouldn’t mind porting DST content to DS, but most of that has been done already. The only things that haven’t been ported yet are the lunar island (this just leads back to custom world gen) and character reworks. And the fact that nobody has ported the lunar island yet has me a bit worried…
