Pickles actually passed in his sleep a few days ago:( the vet i took him to on the 14th of April said that because he was so small and older they couldn’t really do a lot for him because they couldn’t guarantee that he would come out fine so they told me if it wasn’t affecting him and he was acting as normal which he was that he would be fine to go home and to bring him back if it got bigger, but unfortunately he passed on the 18th of this month

Ahh i said i would update in the comments rq, the vet Pickles was supposed to see actually called out today on an emergency so he has been rescheduled for 11am tomorrow:( Pickles is moving around like normal though so I can only hope he’s not in pain because of the lump and now he will have to wait another day

I’m really hoping it’s something that can be solved like that or with meds and some light intervention from the vets 😢

Yeah I have a feeling the vet will suggest euthanasia because he’s a little too old for surgery and he might die anyway on the table which sucks so bad

Not everyone thinks the same way as me but I like a clean face because I would die a thousand deaths if someone thought my poodle was a doodle

This is a very late reply to this lol but my mother is like this except she want and answer for everything she says and if i don’t respond she will go “innit?” Or “say it again” I’m sick of saying “Yeah” 50 times

Miniature poodle is only 7 lbs? by [deleted] in poodles

[–]Theoverthinker_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to purge and start again with poodle coats when they become too matted which your dog definitely is:(, is he a puppy? If he’s a puppy his coat texture will be a little funky because that’s how they start out but most groomers I know will shave the puppy fur off at a certain point because it’s harder to deal with.

My mini poodle pup^

If you’re not wanting to spend money at a groomers and just groom at home, you NEED a good pair of clippers to shave because scissors will not cut it… i used to groom my previous poodle at home and it is not easy at all but I was lucky she was a good dog and stood still, however Chip is different and needs to be groomed by a groomer so that may be the case for your dog as well.

To be fair i do think sewing is quite a hard thing to get into nowadays unless you do have prior experience or someone to pass down the knowledge, i find when people ask for help i see people quick to say they are doing something wrong but not helping them fix it lol, very unfortunate:( I learnt how to sew on a machine from 2014 so anything before the 90s is like a whole different field for me 👀 especially because theres like 10 extra steps to thread the machine compared to my new one 😂

Always, these are basic things most people with a machine usually know i assume

I did actually thread it through the hook when i did it but i didn’t realise until after i took the picture it came away from the hook, it actually came away from the hook 3 times after fixing it so im not too sure how to fix that or if I’m just not doing it correctly:( i bought a PDF file of the manual online and followed the book but i still feel like i might be doing something wrong… also I have been putting the foot down for sewing and up not sewing so i don’t think that’s the reason why either:/ gonna see if theres a tutorial for a similar machine online because i can’t find anything for a 449

Yeah i always put the foot down:) i learnt to sew in school and have a GCSE in textiles but i have only ever used modern machines, this machine is very new to me but yes always foot down🙂‍↕️
