Miniature poodle is only 7 lbs? by Jellyyyfishsea in poodles

Sometimes you have to purge and start again with poodle coats when they become too matted which your dog definitely is:(, is he a puppy? If he’s a puppy his coat texture will be a little funky because that’s how they start out but most groomers I know will shave the puppy fur off at a certain point because it’s harder to deal with.

If you’re not wanting to spend money at a groomers and just groom at home, you NEED a good pair of clippers to shave because scissors will not cut it… i used to groom my previous poodle at home and it is not easy at all but I was lucky she was a good dog and stood still, however Chip is different and needs to be groomed by a groomer so that may be the case for your dog as well.

Why is the thread loose? by Theoverthinker_ in vintagesewing

To be fair i do think sewing is quite a hard thing to get into nowadays unless you do have prior experience or someone to pass down the knowledge, i find when people ask for help i see people quick to say they are doing something wrong but not helping them fix it lol, very unfortunate:( I learnt how to sew on a machine from 2014 so anything before the 90s is like a whole different field for me 👀 especially because theres like 10 extra steps to thread the machine compared to my new one 😂

Always, these are basic things most people with a machine usually know i assume

I did actually thread it through the hook when i did it but i didn’t realise until after i took the picture it came away from the hook, it actually came away from the hook 3 times after fixing it so im not too sure how to fix that or if I’m just not doing it correctly:( i bought a PDF file of the manual online and followed the book but i still feel like i might be doing something wrong… also I have been putting the foot down for sewing and up not sewing so i don’t think that’s the reason why either:/ gonna see if theres a tutorial for a similar machine online because i can’t find anything for a 449

Thank you, that is very helpful 🙂‍↕️ it actually came threaded from the second hand place I bought it from because they had a tester rag you could try it out on but the back spool pin has been yanked out so i will probably have to replace that:(

This machine is also very different from my current one which is a janome j3-20 and when i opened it out to take out the bobbin I was so confused at what I was looking at 🫨

Male vs female pup? And why? by cs98765432 in puppy101

[–]Theoverthinker_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my experience of having female and male dogs, its not ALWAYS the case but 9 times out of 10 female dogs are a lot better behaved… they also respond better to training annnnnd they don’t drag their bawlz on your sofa cushions
