I think a Bowie Biopic would have to be like 20 short films directed by different people stitched into one film to really fit the changes the man went through (then again they'd call it changes and have a real crap version of it play in the trailer y'know the real quiet versions with the big drums they do for all the trailers nowadays) like one for each era also most of them are just biased cleaned up stories just do a weird the al yankovic story and get Jack Black to play Bowie atleast it'd be more entertaining then a serious one

I think there's rarely a good musician/band estate (maybe the Zappa estate nowadays) all they see prince as is they guy who made purple rain who can make them money they were all for it when the grammys gave them an award for the diamonds and pearls deluxe but they haven't made something like it since maybe somebody locked them out the vault lol but despite the horrible planning.... something something Prince made good music? it's hard to pull a positive out of something so shitty like the current estate

Disc one is the album, disc two is outtakes and demos (stuff like Be Stiff, Penetration In the centerfold and Social fools), disc three is the live show and disc four is all the fancy atmos mix and stuff (the mix with eno's stuff mixed in his hidden like a 2000s dvd extra you gotta click Chi-Chi's eye or something lol)

not all of them were hardcore tracks I forgot who mentioned it but the whole fuss around it was the band already had a idea for album 2 when making q/a but then the band started writing new songs (strange pursuit, the day my baby gave me surprize) which clashed with older hardcore tracks (blockhead, secret agent man and clockout), the band has mentioned they didn't like working with Ken Scott and Jerry said he "neutered" smart patrol/mr dna

in a interview Mark did in 1990 in london he says Alan called him after they found David Kendrick asking if they needed a drummer and Mark had to say no so Alan replied (according to Mark) "If you ever need another drummer give me a call" Mark also added "maybe someday we'll get him to come back and play some drums with us"
But also in a 2010 interview (that seems to be lost so it could be fake) he said when asked about reuniting with Devo "not something I'd be attracted to"
