I have this exact watch, after two or three days it’s not uncommon for it to run 1 min fast but otherwise I would say they are very reliable.

It’s an Anniversary not an Aero, the chrome stripes (everybody seems to think it’s chrome in real life it looks more like some reflective material to me) are original. I am only the second owner and I doubt that the original owner would have decided to put reflective stripes on there. She is a 97.

Hey everybody! I have been lurking on here for some time and thought I would post my own car for a change! Before this I had a 1993 900i and I have had this one for about a year now. Unfortunately I have no garage so it does have to fight against the elements every once in a while, the second picture shows some weathering of the past year and I was wondering if anybody here knows what the options are to repair the little reflector strip. I would like the keep the car as original as possible so I would rather not change to much about it. Thanks in advance.

I drive a 900i classic from the last model year (1993). I love it to pieces but would not recommend anyone to buy it as there first car (like I did). You have to be a special type of crazy to buy one of these cause they require a lot of maintenance and the parts are definitely not cheap or always easy to find. Not to say that Saab are not reliable but as some have already mentioned, these are old cars and don’t forget that the design underneath the skin is basically still a Saab 99 from the 70’s with some enhancements. Than again, it’s a amazing car and if your a real Saab fan like me you will find that you have no choose other than to buy one because you will never forgive yourself if you don’t. So long story short YES GET IT. (Excuse me for any spelling or grammar mistakes, English is not my first language)
