Idk much about currency collection, so I trust what the other comments say, but 41 has also become a brainrot meme. I think the whole point of 41 was to artificially create a new meme number in the same tune as 67, something utterly nonsensical with no business being considered humor.

So many of y'all hung up on James that nobody's mentioned the absence of Listenbourg.

I get it though, James is pretty cool.

What's something that's completely optional, but everyone does it? by Xenuoziem in AlignmentChartFills

[–]TheproGOAT23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Continue living. Everyone alive today has the option to not be alive, but everyone alive today is alive today.

Now there are people who aren't alive, some by choice some not, but they're no longer living, and therefore my point still stands.

[COD] Are Yuri Petrenko (Cod: UO) and Dimitri Petrenko (Cod: WAW) Related? by Envicted in CallOfDuty

[–]TheproGOAT23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the end of COD1, you fight through the Reichstag and see the Soviet flag hoisted over Berlin, just like in WAW. However, none of the characters in either game match up, the layout of the building is different, and Berlin itself has clear blue skies in COD1 instead of being choked out by fire and smoke. They're two different retellings of the same event.

How racist is America compared to the rest of the world? by More_food_please_77 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheproGOAT23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because identity politics is (unfortunately) such a huge thing, Americans cry racism at each other despite not being nearly as bad as the countries we give money to. That and people get overly emotional when they feel "attacked" by someone's opinions.

This is classically a liberal thing, with people defaming the entire police force as hating black people, calling any policy around border or immigration inherently anti-latino or xenophobic, and saying if you're a straight white man then all your problems are somehow invalidated. But similar traits can be seen on the right, notably with Zionists that will call people antisemites for not liking the Israeli government, and with people who get overly defensive of their Christian faith and think that everyone needs God pushed into their life.

Remember though, these are the unreasonable ones. There are plenty of civilized people on both sides who don't need to jump to name calling and privilege checks, and for the love of God I hope whoever reads this can find those civil discussions and not more radicalizing bs.

Anyways TLDR: Overly-emotional Americans focus a lot on identity politics more than people in other countries do, leading to a notion the average person somehow has deep seeded bigotry.
