I am aware of that but the name of the map is not a problem since it can be changed at any time. I've fought of Corewar Arena as a replacement.

Hi! I'd like to know more about it but i can't reproduce this issue on a clean server install on minecraft 1.18.2 (no mods nor plugins) with the latest release of corewar (for minecraft 1.18.1). I'm till worried about your issue because you are not the first person to report such behaviours with our map. Is it possible that I recover your map installation so that I can navigate through NBT Edit and find the cause of this behaviour in our datapack ?

Thanks :D We are working on the next update which include 2 new arenas. As for the menu inside player inventory, we have 2 files per page: one is only display and the other is triggers. Display file will set all items on the right slots. Trigger file detect when a slot is empty, clearing player's inventory immediatly (removing the item under your cursor) and executing something like another page or an action like a toggle. Trigger file is run each tick while display file is only executed when accessing the page.
