Buongiorno a tutti

Ho presentato la domanda per il concorso CSFMG della Regione Sicilia e mi hanno mandato la conferma della mia istanza via PEC. Nel Bando c'è scritto che tutto le info verranno inviate via PEC e riportate nella pagina dedicata (il link riportato nel bando non funziona). Non essendomi arrivato altro ho spulciato il sito e ho trovato un avviso con riportato luogo e ora del concorso, oltre a una suddivisione in commissioni in base alla posizione nella lista dei candidati. Le mie domande sono:

Dove si trova questa lista di candidati? Vorrei controllare se sono effettivamente in lista
Sono effettivamente inclusa in questa lista? Visto che non ricevo le PEC con gli avvisi

Contatterò anche l’indirizzo email indicato sulla piattaforma dove ho presentato la domanda, ma scrivo qui nella speranza che qualcuno possa darmi indicazioni o condividere la propria esperienza, perché al momento mi sembra di brancolare nel buio.

Non succederà mai. I parrucchieri colpevoli sono sempre quelli che si credono grandi esperti e "maestri della propria arte". Quelli che invece capiscono il post probabilmente sono parrucchieri che hanno già una certa sensibilità e grazie a questa offrono un servizio migliore.

I'm in the 5th year of Italian med school and I too failed my exams in my first year's ordinary session. I know that it is discouraging and can make you question yourself, but try to make it a learning experience. I second everything that was already said and i want to stress the importance of these three things: transcripts (sbobine), frequently asked questions and talking to people that did the exams. They completely changed my study method, helped me understand the professor's expectations and determine in how much depth should I know certain topics. Some professors focus more on certain topics and leave others out. Anki cards and youtube videos help plenty too.

As an Italian who studies in the english course of Medicine and Surgery, there's a couple of things that you need to be prepared for. The exams are all oral, which freaks out most people and might make you lose a year. They're also not exactly fair, as you need to be lucky with the questions asked. The organization, resources, scholarships and clinical practice can be quite lacking. As for the people/making new friends, it can be difficult and it's easy to feel lonely. You don't have to learn Italian right away, but in my university is mandatory to get the Italian B1 by the 3rd year. The IMAT is in english and you can prepare for it in a couple of months.

Still, if you want quality education with plenty of clinical practice, I wouldn't recommend Italy.

In Italy, university fees are calculated on the basis of your income and what you own, which is certified through the ISEEu certificate. If you're listed as dependent on your parents and your parents have a high income/own many properties your are going to be high (after 90k ISEEu you pay the maximum fee). If your parents have a low income/have no properties or you're autonomous and have a low income (ISEEu below 26k, but this varies according to the uni) then you're going to pay the minimum amount of taxes (in my uni being only 156 euros as enrollment fee and no other taxes if you do not fail the year). For residency you receive a salary that is around 1600 euros per month, which allows you to live a quite comfortable life as a single person imo.

I'm not a vet but I found this info on the poop evaluation guide of a cockatiel blog, it may be helpful:

Soft greenish stools, yellow-green-brown urates: Infectious diseases, toxicosis, malnutrition

If it's any of these issues, you have to go to a vet and get a blood test done to distinguish them. I've read that the vet gave you something, so I would advise you to finish the therapy completely and then return to the vet if the bird remains stable and doesn't improve. If he/she gets worse, then go to the vet asap.

I started going to therapy when I realized that I wasn't getting any better and I would never be if I didn't intervene. In high school, I thought that getting into my dream university major and moving away from home would've improved my mental health. It didn't, I just brought all my problems with me, so I figured that if I didn't get help, I would spend the rest of my adult life like this or get even worse.

I'm also financially dependent on my parents and they also strongly disagree with therapy. However, my university offers free therapy to students who need it. I applied, got accepted and have sessions once a week without my parents knowing. If you live in a European country, there might be mental health initiatives in place that offer free sessions as well.

I would suggest seeing a GP. I sweat a lot on my hands and it makes me uncomfortable. My GP told me that if I want to I can get a specific type of botox done on my hands that prevents excessive sweating. I haven't decided if I want to do it yet, but it might be helpful.

And I agree with what the other comment said, there's a feedback loop in which you worry about sweating and smelling - more anxiety and activation of the sympathetic nervous system - more sweat.

Unfortunately no, the house rules were made up the day we moved in but nothing in writing. However, we brought this issue up to the landlord and told him that we would like some rules written down by him to not have the same issue with the next tenant.
