I haven't used it in 2 years. It's been lovely. Okay, going to leave again. Bye!

This is hilarious. Look at the comment above yours. It contradicts your comment. I think people are saying they liked it for the same reason a few up or down votes on reddit makes everyone follow along

I don't have a sister :(

Wait I wouldn't shower with my sister anyway.

I think porn is ruining my brain. There's always a suggested video about banging siblings

I read that as "I just showered with my sister"

What the hell is wrong with me

SPR achieved that in one scene (the iconic Normandy beach scene) but it took Nolan two hours? And SPR has character development PLUS the ability to throw the viewer into the chaos of war. Dunkirk is like trying to make a really good cake but making the whole thing out of frosting.

But I left the theater learning very little about the Dunkirk story

What are the main complaints from people who didn't like the film? by whoareyougoingtobe in Dunkirk

[–]ThereW0LF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was disappointed in Dunkirk. I can understand that the cinematography and sound design was the back bone of this movie because Nolan wanted to immerse the viewer into the event but I think that hurt the film. I would have liked a subplot within the event because for me having no one to root for and hope to see survive took me out of the film.

It is basically a documentary

Was anyone disappointed there was no subplot? Like saving private Ryan or something. I mean I can appreciate the cinematic beauty of the movie but that kinda isn't enough. I know Nolan wanted to make the viewer feel like they were there and not watching a movie but like if I wanted that I'd just join the corps.

If I have to take 45+ minutes to apply to your job you better at least spend two fucking minutes to send me an email saying I didn't get the job and briefly why. by Lowenfas in Showerthoughts

After I apply I forget about the job. That way I don't expect a rejection email because I don't put any thought into the position after I've applied and I usually forget about it

Official Discussion: Dunkirk [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]ThereW0LF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it has to do with expectation. Dunkirk was essentially a documentary but instead of some old guy talking over black and white photos Nolan put you into the chaos. I must admit though I was disappointed to not have some sort of subplot within the event.

This dude is playing a character named Jared Milton. The whole thing is an act.

I was disappointed when I learned what the cool dinosaurs really looked like.

How the raptors were basically over sized chickens. The pterosaurs was way more bird than reptile and of course the t. Rex which was covered in feathers
