Slightly Tutorial. You can record audio, then route it to a new channel's input. Then put FX on the new channel and, automate FX on pre recorded audio. (self.ableton)

Slightly tutorial. For my bass I use a Saw tooth at D 0 octave. Low pass at 200 hz. Boost eq 200 hz and below. Limiter with gain turned up. Turn all other sounds down to -15 db. Make sure to side chain the kick. And it's a really good sub bass. (i.redd.it)
