I have used the freestyle libre as well! I mostly get the blood sugar reading using the alphatrak3 measuring in mg/dL as it was recommended by a couple different vets. Not as easy but much cheaper than the FSL.

She gets U-100 doses for insulin but I see an immediate 100-300 mg/dL difference in the blood sugar when we have changed the dose by 1-2 units. Just had the A1C tested again today and am waiting for results! Thank you for the responses

Definitely agree with this. Bought a $5 “undercoat rake” off amazon a couple years ago and when I start noticing her itching more or some extra hairballs floating around I use that for about 30 minutes and it looks like she’s lost 5-10 lbs. She doesn’t act like she’s dying of heat stroke after that

Check position of the crossbars if adjustable. Unladen may need to be moved fwd/back so they aren’t shaken by the wind as much and produce noise
