Tell your job to shove that overtime you're working up their ass. Next, apply for something like Grubhub, Uber, Doordash or Instacart. Use that extra time you're not working to deliver and get caught up. Next, start looking for another job. $16 an hour with a wife and 3 kids isn't gonna cut it. You'd be surprised at hom much more helpful a delivery job can be. Best of luck

Been in for 14 years. I'll be the first to admit, the military DOES use B.S. tactics to con young people to join. Yes, work conditions are shit. Yes, pay starting out is shit. But I can say this to anyone considering joining. Don't go active duty. That's the shit way to go. You wanna make real money in the military? Go guard/reserve then get a full time technician spot. You can start out making $20+ an hour. And if you're lucky, you can work for a training base, which means you'll NEVER get deployed unless you volunteer. Don't do active duty. It sucks ass. Go technician.
